Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If any of you want some local-ish beers to Bonnaroo, you should grab some Nashville's Jackalope Brewery's Thunder Ann (Pale Ale) or a multitude of Straight to Ale's (Huntsville, AL) beer. That's all in cans so you can take them to the farm without a problem. Everywhere else around Nashville just bottles as far as I know. If you want store recommendations if you're coming through Nashville, just let me know.
I'll be in Nashville for 3 days after Roo as part of my trip. So any beer advice for Tennessee is welcome (will hit Smokies and Memphis too) - thanks in advance
Head deep into the Smoky Mountains (maybe even cross into NC), find yourself some good shine. If you are looking to treat yourself, nothing better than some apple pie shine!
So I just joined Inforoo..have been on here for a while now but never posted. Does anyone do any sort of beer trading? I would love to find some new stuff that I can't get down here in FL. I can get plenty of Cigar City if anyone is interested. Where I live in St. Pete we have 5-6 breweries that just opened in the past year and they all brew some amazing beer... And anyone on here from Michigan...would loveeeeeee some B. Nektar.

Well we get a lot down here..such as Founders and Bells. But I LOVE B. Nektar. They are out of Ferndale. We get a lot of their bottles down here but they are expensive as hell! I don't know if you are familiar with them, but a bottle of Zombie Killer here at WOB costs me around $11 with my employee discount. And we only get a few different styles. Would love to try some new ones! And I would love to try some of Shorts Brewing..I think it is up by Traverse City. Where in Michigan are you from? I was born and raised in Macomb Twp!

yep I've heard of them. I am actually a bee-keeper but oddly enough I have a strong dislike for mead. I'm in southeast MI - Plymouth. Shorts is great!
Just some relationship advice here... If you and your significant other are trying to determine who gets the last New Holland The Poet Oatmeal Stout and who gets the last Left Hand Milk Stout before you both move on to the 6 pk of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, the correct answer is to open both bottles and mix them half and half in pint glasses. You each end up with a fantastic Oatmeal Milk Stout and nobodys feelings get hurt.
Step two: pour the Breckenridge down the sink and never, ever buy anything from them ever again

My wife is a fan but it's too sweet for a porter. I don't think it's awful nor will I pour $9 down the drain but it's not at all what I want from a porter.
Bell's Oberon and Two Hearted will be in cans now come April. woot woot.
This makes me so happy! I love bells two hearted. I will definitly be having this on the farm. Last year I took a bunch of Oskar blues old chub and dales pale ale. Basically anything Oskar blues does is great. Their tenfidy is great.

Cigar City is the shit! Their master brewer is from my area.
melty1588 so would you wanna do a trade?! Anyone else want in? could be fun
Yes! I have been talking to a few friends about this and I think it would be really cool! Especially if we can trade beers that are hard for each other to get in our current locations! I actually just met the owner of B. Nektar last night, he was down in my area. Nicest guy ever!

21st Amendment Brewery's Hell or High Water watermelon beer was a delicious beverage right after waking up. Obviously if you don't like fruity beers, you won't like this. But,some may find it to be a refreshing way to start the day.
Great that mate, thank you. I'll add them to my list.
Smokey Mountain Brewery is outstanding, Cherokee red is particularly incredible. Knoxville is about 45 minutes from the Smokies, and really worth a trip if you know the right places to stop by.
Edit: I should clarify it's outstanding for its price.

Just had a really nice lemongrass wheat from West 6th out of Lexington, KY. I hope they can it so I can take some to the farm. It's unfiltered so it has a good body and the lemongrass would be delicious on a hot summer day.
