Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I didn't mean to call Phil Lesh shitty; what I mean was that I just didn't enjoy his set last year--I left early and headed to the tent.
More than anything, bonnaroo just lost some of its luster last year. Instead of being overwhelmed by the number of great bands and being unable to choose which one I wanted to see, I only had a few schedule conflicts.
I was only sad that I missed Cypress Hill b/c I sat thru Beck's stupid puppet show...should have been camped out at Claypool or MMW the whole time but I was trying to see a new band. And I don't seriously think RHCP would be a good headliner; their new music blows.
I'm sure the Police would put on a good headline show. We'll see what the line-up brings.
Essential Point: I went to All Good, bonnaroo, and Langerado last year and I would rank both the other ones over bonnaroo.
And seriously, "horse of a different color," you've never heard that one? You've never watched the Wizard of Oz and seen how they handle that pun?
I was at that Claypool set...left towards the end because I did want to catch a little of Cyprus Hill for nostalgia's sake. Phil Lesh was my favorite show of the weekend, to each his own. I feel that way about having another Panic show at 'roo, I really don't want them back. Or if they are back, at least put them Fri or Sat so I can rest up for latenight, give me something good for the closing set. But still, I will never miss a Bonnaroo.

I just realized I misspelled CyprESS when I read your reply. I just never loved Panic, although I wouldn't mind them there if they had only one night like in 03.

yea not every one does. its cool though, panic probably will never blow up for that one reason, and thats good for me (no little kids at the shows like at umphrey's shows)

It would take alot for me not ever going back to roo. I am going more this year for the entire experience, and not just the music. I will see my fair share of bands, but I like the atmosphere and the people that I have met the last 2 times I have been there.
I definitely second that notion! ;D I love music, but at least 50% of the memorable experience of Roo was based on all the cool people I met.
(Granted...if the line up is unexpectedly horrible, I will have to sell my early bird ticket because of grad school/money reasons.)
Lineup two days before birthday. What a nice early b-day present.
Lineup will be a great bday present for me too since it's announced a day before my birthday. Not to mention, it will probably be the only Valentine's Day gift I receive.

Awww. I feel your pain. Here's some chocolates.......

Same here unless mom gets me something...Oh well, the Bonnaroo lineup is a better gift than any Valentine's day present I've ever gotten anyway

Thanks! Although I can't say it's really pain...I've never been much of a fan for the Hallmark holiday. I just dislike how it ends up lingering into my birthday.

I think mattland was so blown away by radio head he doesn't see anyone topping that performence, mind you i bet the Police as a headliner would sell most people who are ney saying the roo, let me remind you, and the thousands reading this post, all you did at All Good was talk about how great Bonaroo was, not that All Good wasn't amazing but it's like comparing apples to oranges
the only reason i can think of why you shouldn't go to bonnaroo is if you are dead. even then, plans could be made to ensure you're still in attendance.

Why is this thread even still going? I mean, if this was on a coachella board, then I'd understand! But this is inforoo, there shouldn't be any negative vibes towards the roo whatsoever!
I think that this could be an addition to 'roo seeing that they own the farm. A special place for those whom have passed to be in attendence, perhaps an new RIP section???????
