Radiohead was far and away the best show I've seen on the farm. Here are my two favorites by year
2006 - Radiohead followed by G.R.A.B 2005 - DJ Krush followed by the Herbie Hancock, Pino Pallidino, Questlove Superjam 2004 - Praxis followed by Primus 2003 - The Flaming Lips followed by Sonic Youth 2002 - Trey Anastasio followed by the Disco Biscuits

This is a tough one. I've always said that the late night Flaming Lips set was one of my all-time favs. Top 5 are probably:
Lips Col Claypool's Bucket.... Radiohead MMJ 2005 (honorable mention to every other MMJ roo performance) Galactic 2004
The galactic show just b/c of the circumstances - I walked out of the Doc Watson show, thinking I had missed Galactic - only to find myself smack in the middle of it since they had delayed the start due to the rain. Awesome show. I love the roo.
I missed Radiohead last year sadly. i wasnt upset till my non-radiohead friends came back and said how awsome it was. . . . . i had to rest up for superjam though . .. glad i did
oysterhead . . . .. this was one of the shows i needed to see, but i got too drunk too early, and blacked out after steel pulse, barely remembering sitting in the middle of centeroo in the grass eating this cheesesteak with ketsup all over my face, next thing i know, its like 8pm, and i am waking up from being passed out on this tarp in the middle of my campsite . . . . . .
05 - Allman Brothers ( I believe Relix called it their best set in a decade) 06- My Morning Jacket ( I only knew One Big holiday and all of Z, but that had to be one of the best shows I've ever witnessed)
Do I have to pick one? I mean, it's really between Radiohead and Amadou & Mariam last year. Radiohead was epic. Amadou & Mariam's probably the most fun I've had at a concert in awhile. But all in all, Radiohead's the one I'll be telling friends and family about for years to come...
Its insane for me to try and pick a "best" show - so much good no great music. No way to rate it . I think for me its about being surprised; about someone being so much better than expected - Amadou and Miriam for example - holy crap that was off the hook; just a shockingly good show that I never expected. Seau Jorge was in the same category last year. Neil Young a couple years ago - again off the hook. Flaming Lips - I had never even heard of them and it was jaw dropping an epic show. How bout Particle playing way past sunup. Robert Randolph with Del McCourey and DJ logic. MMJ's epic set last year (do they just kick it up a notch every year or what!)

my favorite shows at b'roo '06 were hot buttered rum on friday night; their sound went out, so they just busted out an acoustic bluegrass set while everybody in the tent got real quiet so everyone could hear, it was great. that, and sasha on saturday night were tops for me this time around.
'05: pgroove thursday, galactic friday late night '04: not in attendance '03: ben harper solo acoustic, the wailers, the dead, and jack johnson all stand out in my head. '02: flying frog brigade - it was at that moment when i knew that i had stumbled upon something very special with this whole bonnaroo thing. but the all-time greatest for me at any roo was moe. playing late night that first year then as soon as they finished particle cranked up and busted out that sunrise set. crazy.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
03 moe! First time seeing the band. This was a late Sunday afternoon show and played opposite of James Brown. They blew me away and made me a fan. I still listen to this show.
04 Patti Smith Group! We stumbled into this show trying to find some shade and she rocked! Small crowd but she did not care she let it rip.
05 Allman Brothers Band! This is my all time favorite roo preformance I just hope they come back this year.
06 Wood Brothers and Phil Lesh and friends! First thursday band that really got me going and this was by far the best Phil show I have ever attended.
Radiohead!!. The MMJ show was great but I was waay in the back. Also DeVotcKa on thursday was amazing, it was my 1st ever show at Bonnarro, I was right up front, and I did'nt stop dancing the entire set.
modest mouse 05 - my favorite band for like 2 years at the time (i still dig em a lot) and being there for the whole set and the fun guys we were with made this show soooo worth the running away from home thing Umph 06 - just totally epic show. i was so blown away i skipped bisco to go pass out (regret) moe. 06 - probably fave show of 06. i was spunnnnnnnn and had the time of my life. we got there for bela fleck, and worked our way up, then had like 5th row for moe.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

That Patti Smith show fuc.kin rocked!!
That Phil show was the best Phil show I'd ever been too until exactly one month later I saw him again and it was even better. Didn't think he could top that one. And the ABB performance of 05 was epic. Opened with Mountain Jam, played Dreams (still the only time I've heard that by them live), just great!
