Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
just found out nin will be playing with REM and STP at voodoo this year... i just hope the sound doesnt suck as bad as last year at voodoo (could be cause the bands sucked last year... though) but seriously, i've heard good things about the smashing pumpkins recent shows, yet i thought they sucked at voodoo) i missed wilco on the main stage cause i was sick, but the only two bands that sounded good last year where clap your hands say yeah and coheed, and they played on the 2nd main stage
Trent is a good man. This is the fans' reward for sticking around so long after The Fragile (and Spiral, too). Even when homeboy was down and out, in Trent we trust.

on the second listen right now. its pretty good. i havent listen to NIN other than singles and such on the radio or what not, so this is the first album i have heard but its interesting. i think i have a better understanding of the music now then i did if i listened to NIN in earlier years, because i have heard a lot of electronic music in the past couple of months and its an aspect of NIN i didnt know about before.
With this new album, I can only imagine how the new set lists are gonna look. They will no doubt be different than the last couple times they were in the US for the With Teeth tour.
When they were overseas with Year Zero, Trent was pulling out some rarities like "Last" and "Ruiner" very often, and playing some slide guitar on a couple of songs. Of course, they played a little off of Year Zero, but this coming tour, they've got ALLOT of new material to cover live.
I'm very, very excited to be a NIN fan right now. Best time to be a fan, ever.
