I'm going to wear mine as long as my wife will tolerate it. I hope to have it on next year for '09. I actually clipped off the end pieces and sewed the two stubs together so they wouldn't fray. I'm just curious who else plans on wearing theirs indefinitely. I can't wait to run into someone who is still wearing one. It's a good conversation starter!
still wearing mine. on monday i was at a gas station in my home town getting ready to drive back to raleigh and i pulled up next to some guy who i noticed had one of those metalliroo shirts on. i talked to him for a minute. turns out he's a professor at my school and has gone with his kid for the last 3 years. the conversation started because he saw my wrist band.
Still have mine on. It's a nice little bracelet! And I agree that it's a nice conversation starter. I was barhopping last night and guy came up to me and yelled, "ROOOO!!!" before giving me a hug and moving along. It was the most awesomely strange thing that's happened to me since the "I'm only wearing one flip-flop" guy after Kanye.
i take my wristbands off before the first shower. I try to keep it in it's original shape from the festival without any non-related festival weathering happening to it.
it's with my book and ticket and a couple of other items that will go up on the wall when i'm good and inspired to hang em up.
I'm going to wear mine for a long time. I think its totally acceptable as a pretty bracelet, and its already started some great conversations just in the past few days.
i get $25 if I still have it on for roo 09!!! i bet it'll be pretty gnarly if it really is still on my wrist by then. I can't wait for the first person to give me the bonnaroo yell when someone who went recognizes it!

Yea, it is a cool bracelet. I hate to wear it out completely as I would like to save it for a keepsake, but I will be rocking it for as long as possible. It is SOOOO much more comfortable than a plastic wristband.

indeed, and more earth friendly! last year's bracelet broke me out in little hives because it attracted dirt and what have you - It was hard to keep clean and it looked really gross, these cloth ones get nice and clean pretty easily.

Still wearing mine too. Made a challenge with the people we were camping with to see who would leave theirs on the longest. I don't normally wear a watch but I went out and bought one yesterday so I'd have something to cover it up with when I go to meetings at work. I don't really care if it starts to fray, that will just add to the character.

I'll definitly be keeping mine on!!
Its now the 6th addition to the wrist bands i've got from other festivals over the years. Its a great conversation starter and when you see someone wearing the same one as you, you feel like kindred spirits!!
Took mine off the first day back at work... I was going to wear it for as long as possible, but the plastic thing and dangling pieces got in the way. It'll be hung up on the wall with my poster and ticket
Its pretty easy to get off. You just gotta give it a good pull. Don't pull it so far that the band comes out of the plastic piece tho. Gonna wear mine on my ankle if I can fit it on there, it'd bug me to have it on my wrist for the next 11 and a half months.
I took a pair of pliers to the black piece, just kept squeezing back and forth til the plastic broke so I could safely remove the whole thing without damaging the cloth. Inside the black piece are metal teeth designed to tear the cloth if you try to pull it out.
Still have mine on! I can't believe it has already been a week...Time flies when you're sitting on your a$$ checking out Inforoo all day every day, just trying to hang on to the Roo!
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream

I usually wear mine for a couple of weeks, and then I'l try to take it off as delicately as possible. Thats my only complaint about these... they are too damn cool to just cut off.

Mine slips over my hand (I have tiny hands and wrists) so I wore it for a few days and have been taking it off for work and putting it back on lol. It seems silly but it's so pretty!
I got both mine off without moving the plastic at all...the VIP was easy cause they let me adjust it myself so I didn't tighten it much at all! But the media one THEY put on for me and it was kinda tight getting it off with moving anything...but I managed! ;D Hyperextended thumbs help
I'm keepin' mine on until something requires otherwise!!!!! We stopped at Cracker Barrell on the way home and like 90% of the patrons were Rooers. Anyone remember the hostess blowing bubbles?!

The guy at airport security still wearing his practically got strip searched... might not have been because of the wristband, but it's why we cut ours off before we got there...
