Okay I know there is the Bonnaroo Keepsakes and Bonnaroo Porn thread. But I have been itching to post this. I dont want to know about your posters or t-shirts (unless found on the ground..lol).
I never found my own ground score, however my counterpart Bunny gave me a beautiful bead bracelet that she GRDscrd.
And Monday Andrea found a really nice chair that we took.
This is interesting to me... I am a dork... Anyhow what did you score?

A $5 bill on the ground next to a lemonade stand during BB King. There was nobody there at the time, or I would have asked if it was theirs. I bought me a delicious arepas with it later.
After I got a ride from the medic tent to centeroo, I was lamenting the fact that I could hardly walk. My head was hung low, and then I found ten bucks! which paid for my taxi back to camp later that night!

I didn't find anything for myself this year, but my roommate found a camping grill, and a fold up chair, my girlfriend found a pair of flip flops. There was also this guy that was looking for some no no's coming out of pearl jam, and when I told him I didn't have any to get rid of he said:
"man I just found a back pack out in the field with about a grand in it.... in fact do you mind if you shine your headlamp over here so I can't start counting it?... 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 *stops counting because there is too much*..... quack man, there is a poopton of money here. Here take 5, it's Bonnaroo, and I'm going on a quacking shopping spree!!"
After that, I kept my eyes on the ground for abandoned backpacks....
I spotted a guy drop $10 and pointed it out to him. He was so confused...but then grateful. I think he thought I was a creepy old guy trying to give him $10 for something dubious.
I also saw two guys find a zippy bag full of corn. Rather pleased with themselves.

ummmm if it were me i would turn something in that were of significant value like a thousand bucks.... i think its wrong to take that money. 20 bucks or pair of flip flps here or there doesnt matter because the people who lost them wont go looking for them.
with that said i lost my Ray Bans and i want them back. ($110)

nametag,id,other identifying items attatched?no?just a lonely backpack full of money being walked by by thousands and i pick it up,wave it around, ask if it belongs to anyone,no takers, then i look inside?
SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
seriously, your dumb enuff to lose somethng like that, you dont deserve to have it....
reminds me of the couple in ringgold georgia a few years ago that found 90 g's in brown shopping bags in their driveway and TURNED IT IN.....(facepalms)some peple got no sense....
Its a shame that one of those backpacks might have been mine....
It's a shame that someone didn't turn that backpack in so the owner could retrieve it my friend lost his wallet and someone turned it in to lost & found with all the money in it! so great. bonnaroo spirit.
Last year I made some great GRDscores after the bands played, this year I was in no condition to look. But I did pick up 2 new chairs and 4 tiki torches as we were leaving Monday. If I had had a larger vehicle than my Saturn (and it already loaded to the brim) I would have cleaned up! I'm seriously thinking of volunteering for the after roo cleanup crew next year just to stock up on camping supplies!
I wonder if anyone "groundscored" our grill. We didn't have room in the car for it so we just left it. Sad We shouted "Free grill!" on our way out but didn't see any takers. It was brand new so I hope it was put to good use instead of just waste.
We also donated our leftover beer (over half a case) to a wanderer... seemed like we made his night
Hubby scored a piece of glass and left it at the end to "recycle." That was nice since he didn't bring any. He also found before Kanye a sealed 2 liter of Mountain Dew and a bottle of water. The group drank the Dew in an attempt to stay up for the show but it didn't help much.
Leaving PJ I was SHOCKED by the stuff on the ground. Chairs, air mattresses, blankets... I didn't touch any because what if it were people thinking they were holding spots for Kanye? Others were grabbing and running.
I also saw a pair of Smith sunglesses at Gogol and considered picking them up and taking them to Lost and Found but didn't know if the person JUST dropped them and would come back. It's a tough call. Do you score, take to Lost and Found or hope for the best?
On Monday we were packing up and found several grills, chairs and shoes. Too bad the car was full. I found some keys with a stuffed animal shrimp wearing a hat as the key chain. We hung it up on the outside of out canopies after yelling about found keys. When the canopies got taken down we dropped them off in Pod 3.
I wonder if people contact Roo if they send the stuff back to them or if they just trash the stuff.
We found a leather fanny pack after Jack Johnson - just in the middle of nowhere - full of credit cards and such - we turned it in to lost & found - hope whoever lost it went and got it - would have sucked to have to cancel all those cards
about a half oz. of some fairly nutritious corn a nice piece of glass Mag-lite hand-held battery-operated fan 200 of what might be NO NO WORD!!! (gonna try out tonight)
Jesus H. Christ! That's one hell of a groundscore!
That's what they look like. I have my doubts, but only because I almost always have bad luck when I'm trying to buy it, so I could never be this lucky with a ground score, could I?

Hell, I'd hope so. I got bunked once this year, so if you're bad luck was similar to that, I'd say that's karma coming back at ya!
