45 reviews are in and Blade Runner 2049 sits at 98% on rotten tomatoes.
I'm seeing some mixed reviews now. Too long, little story line, ending is a set up for another movie, blah blah blah. That being said, I loved it. Yes, it's long. Two hours and forty four minutes. But every minute is visually stunning. I'm a huuuge fan of the original. Saw it in the theater. Prefer the director's cut. What many people forget is that it was a bomb at the box office. It took years to build a cult following. This movie answers a lot of our questions in a very satisfying way, and asks many more.
Has anybody seen Colossal? It was... not what I expected.
Haven't seen it but that's precisely what I've read from a lot of people. I've heard it's a good character story that really lets Sudeikis showcase some range. Plan to watch it soon.
I think I enjoyed it. It was on Hulu with a bunch of things that I thought were geared towards Halloween but it definitely wasn't. I went in with little foreknowledge and that was probably helpful. Sudeikis really does get to do some new things. An unusual choice for Hathaway, too.

Watched Gerald's Game last night. The first 3/4 was amazing, one of the best actual horror adaptions of King. And then that ending... That was awful. "The ending ruined it" gets said a lot, and usually it's hyperbole, but damn this ending really did ruin the whole movie. Wish I would've watched It instead.
