Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
1. Dark Was The Night - Various 2. Veckatimest - Grizzly Bear 3. Merriweather Post Pavillion - Animal Collective 4. Keep It Hid - Dan Auerbach 5. Hold Time - M. Ward
I also like the new ones by Andrew Bird, William Elliot Whitmore, and Neko Case.
The new Wilco and Flips albums can't come fast enough.
Pretty great year so far, and I haven't yet listened to much non-Bonnaroo stuff from since the lineup was announced.
So far I would say:
1. Andrew Bird 2. Animal Collective 3. Grizzly Bear 4. Akron/Family 5. M. Ward
I think the top four are really great albums and pretty much interchangable in order. I also like the YYY's, Decemberists, Booker T. Haven't heard but expect to like Mastadon, Doom, Dan Deacon.

I have only listened to it once all the way through and it's certainly not my typical style of music but the new Manchester Orchestra "Mean Everything To Nothing" is very catchy indeed.
So happy to see Gomez on someone's list. I love them. This will be one of the under rated shoes of roo 09;
They absoluterly tore it up when they were here in March (?)
Crunchy when I can.
gomez is one of the acts i really want to see that most of the time i forget theyre on the lineup. this has happened with a lot of bands for me. i think im going to get more excited about the whole lineup once it becomes cemented in my head that Phish wont conflict with every band on the lineup and i will actually get to catch something else

1. Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest 2. Wilco - Wilco (The Album) 3. Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion 4. Eels - Hombre Lobo 5. Dark Was The Night compilation
I just bought Animal Collective and I am in love. Another album no one has mentioned was The Killers-Day and Age.
I have a question for you Grizzly Bear familiars. I bought Friend on itunes because it was cheap. How would you rank it compared to the other albums? Which one should I buy next?
but so far the one album from 2009 that i still have going in my car is Umphrey's McGee - Mantis.
others i really enjoyed are Amadou & Mariam - Welcome to Mali, Les Claypool - Of Fungi and Foe. MSTRKRFT's Fist of God is a fun dance album. i like the new Tortoise too.
i have a feeling most of my favs will be later this year with phish and the FLips.
