I'm not voting since it's my first year, not place to. But I'm bringing 300. I keep a budget in excel for all my supplies and i should be fine, but just not opening it i realized i for some moronic reason i forgot to put include effin GAS! im glad i make tip money, ill be fine but hell, if this was a week later id be screwd.
i dont plan to party hard until at least sat. im the type that needs to sleep after an eventfull night so i think im just going to take insain amount of pictures and stay clean besides drinkin for most of Bonnaroo.

I went last year with $150 and that lasted me throughout the festival. I got water at the troughs and cooled off at the fountains. The money took care of my eats and I had some pb & J sandwiches at the tent.
Of course the money situation all depends on what you need there.

I'm probably bringing about $500 or so, but it's mainly b/c I want to "build a drum" this year which will prob cost me between $100-$200. And I have about 10 people that I have to buy gifts for, so things add up.

we (my gf & I) are bringing about 500 each but this will pay for rental car (cause we're flyin out from AZ) cover 2 hotels, meals and booze! We already have enough corn and whatnot

Between my boyfriend and I, we're hoping to bring around $300. We've never really bought a lot food at Roo before because buying our own has been a lot more affordable, but we'll splurge on yummy lamb gyros & garlic grilled cheese.
That amount will be plenty for recreational activities, t-shirts (hopefully we can snag a good deal), and whatever else floats our boat.
Oh yeah, and just a reminder to first year roo-ers: try to bring cash!!! The charges at the atms suck! They charged my boyfriend just to check his balance last year! The lines were always pretty long too during the day. I know some people are relying on direct deposits or whatever, but if you can just try to bring cash and your card for an emergency.
I had $800 but after shopping for supplies, clothes, and my share of the rental car cost I'm down to $300. That should be more than enough; I don't eat much and I never buy souvenirs.
Btw what's up with everyone's obsession with corn?

I'm bringing around $500 for me and my wife. This includes gas money, $20/day/person on food, $80 for shirts/souveniers, and about $150 for corn and miscellaneous.

flying with corn?? you brave soul! i would be scared to death...
my boyfriend and i bring $250-$300 each - mainly for dinner, a t-shirt, new sling bag or skirt for me, and extra curricular activities. i too have a fear of running out, so i always over-prepare. we bring stuff for sandwiches, snacks, water & gatorade, and some gummies for late night! woo!
on another note, anybody else chuckle while reading a couple of these posts...?

Yeah, it's hilarious to see people's plans on what they are planning to do with that money. I'm starting to wonder if I'm an alcoholic cause I'm just worried about having enough to get a beer whenever and wherever I want. :-)
