Absolutely, now... or sooner! Seriously, we're talking about coming up before the year is over. Can we crash on your couch?
Well, I don't know Dan very well, but from what I do know of him I think he might enjoy a keg of Yuengling
An abbreviated quote:
If there was a free Virgin Free Fest ticket...would a trip to DC be more lucrative? This is a huge maybe right now.
Are you kidding? Of course it would! DC area visits with Bunny, Dan, Dan'roo, and Huzzah? And seeing the Keys, GPN, and James Murphy? No need to twist my arm!
2. If, (and I BIG if) I can plan a trip down to Nashvegas (now that the pool party dealio is over [sad face]) when might be a great time to do so with other inforoosters?
With so many inforoosters living in this area, it would be tough to find a time that's not good for a Nashvegas trip. Off the top of my head I'm thinking the weekend of Sept 30th-Oct 2nd might be a great time to visit. I'm not sure what's going on that weekend, but I'm sure there'll be something entertaining
3. What plans do you have fer your Halloween costume this year?
Not sure if there'll be a costume this year, depends on what we decide to do for my birthday. I'm not really feeling planning anything, but if someone were to plan something for me...
I was a nosy little bugger and I caught my dad eating Santa's cookies. I didn't say anything about knowing for years though. I had a younger brother and for some reason I wanted him to believe it as long as possible... probably so I could make fun of him for how long he believed it
My granny. She's such a strong woman... even as she gets old and frail I still respect her strong personality. She's always had this ability to tell you exactly how it is without making you feel like less of a person. She doesn't bullshit anything. I wish I could be more straight forward like that. I'm always too concerned about hurting people's feelings.
I guess my best advice is to not harden or protect your heart, but at the same time be prepared for the letdown. The world will let you down. Humans will let you down. People you love will inevitably let you down. I think there's a fine balance between protecting your heart against harm and leaving your heart vulnerable enough to experience the exhilaration that comes with experiencing true joy and true love. I always thought it had to be one way or the other, but as I get older and gain more life experience I realize that as long as you understand and accept the risks, you can be more prepared to accept the rewards of an open heart.
I hope that makes sense... it's been a long day of corn and beer ;D ;D
Burger King when I was 16 years old.... worst job EVER. Seriously, I have totally sympathy for those working in fast food. While it's not a difficult job, the humans that you have to put up can be the lowest lifeforms around at any particular hour.

My time as BMOTM as come to an end.
Thank you Scrog for choosing me. I've said no to the title a couple times because I had insecurities and doubts, but I'm so glad I opened up this time and took on the challenge.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to ask me questions. I really had a great time sharing a little bit of Sarah with the Info-world.
And now, without further ado, I would like everyone to give a HUGE brunch MIMOSA and HUG to our August Board Member of the Month...
BUNNY!!!
She was a little reluctant, but I can't think of a more deserving BMOTM. I know I'm not alone in this opinion because she was om-nom-nom-nominated by several people.
Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist?
100% optimist. Sometimes I think it's one of my biggest faults. I think it's why people and the world let me down so much. I would lower my expectations, but I feel that would hinder my ability to love the people in my life the way that I do.

I love you, Bunny! Thanks for being so awesome!!
Let the questions begin....
Thank you, Sweetest Sarah. I love you too! You were the primary reason my festivals this summer were so, so brilliant.
The tomatoes were mediocre at best. I don't fry things, ever, except for tofu. More to do with the inferior cornmeal that Dan's crappy grocery store had to offer, I think.

This is not a question, but I'd like to point out that I've already been to Nashville this year.
Come to my house, my house!
We're thinking about it. We both have very limited # of vacation days left and we're trying to figure out when the best time would be to visit. My work schedule is crazy right now and will probably stay that way until the new location opens up October 1st. So, it may be a fall visit... hey maybe we can come up for my birthday!
On to the questions...
1. Did you decide on what to get Dan for his birthday? 2. What is your favorite memory from All Good this year? 3. What was your favorite set at All Good? 4. If you could only go to one festival (the same one every year) for the rest of your life, which would you choose? 5. What's your favorite word?

Fall here is beautiful, and the weather is generally spectacular. This is an awesome goal to have as a reward for the work involved in opening the new place. Plus Dan hasn't had a party in quite a while. This needs to happen.
1. Did you decide on what to get Dan for his birthday?
A Homer gift of random kitchen tools and dinner at a posh restaurant. And we're going to a friend's weekend house in Wilmington, NC for his birthday weekend. Party!
2. What is your favorite memory from All Good this year?
Has to be the scavenger hunt hi-jinks! From making the lists to actually having people return with stuff! Favorites: Find God and see what he says - guy brings back a Bible (who ended up with that anyway?) and the dudes that brought the spare tire.
3. What was your favorite set at All Good?
I really enjoyed Carl Dennison's Tiny Universe and had never heard their music, so that was special. Also, Primus sucked. Really hard.
4. If you could only go to one festival (the same one every year) for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
That's like asking me to pick my favorite child. Defer to later....
5. What's your favorite word?
I use fuck a lot, but my all time favorite is "manky".
Bunny...my question is who would you rather see at Bonnaroo: Daft Punk, Rage Against the Machine, or Radiohead?
Definitely not RATM.
Ideally Radiohead as the headliner with DP late night on What. But if I have to choose? Radiohead.
And WHY not RATM?? Actually I saw RATM, Radiohead AND NIN headline at Lolly 2008 and that will probably be the ONLY time I do Lolly! I don't see them pulling that out of their arse again!
So who would be your perfect headliners for Bonnaroo?
Bunny, I just read an article that talked about some nasty food in DC. Now I am nervous to ever come eat there. Is there any place that's not gross?
I'm unsure of your palate since you have such love for Shoney's breakfast bar.
Don't be skeered! Many places here have really good food. I've had great Middle Eastern, Tapas, Indian, Ethiopian, all veg, pizza, greasy diner, pricy fru-fru and burgers. And the best veggie dogs outside of Belgium. Sadly, I haven't found any good Tex-Mex. The Salvadoran/Guatemalan is good. But it's not Mexican.
Please send me that article. I'm curious as to what was said to be nasty. I've probably been. I might have even liked it.
What is the definition of "manky"? What is the country of origin? Can you use it in a sentence? Are there any alternate pronunciations?
From www.theanswerbank.co.uk - 'Manky' is the adjectival form from 'mank', a now-obsolete word of Scottish origin dating back to the 16th century. It meant to maim or mangle back then, which sort of fits with the current idea implied by 'manky' - that something is not quite right - dirty, gross, disgusting, nasty.
No other way to say it. Just...manky.
As in "After I wore my flip flops for the whole of Bonnaroo they were just manky." True story.
