Sorry for being so sparse with my responses, folks. If my presence on this board hasn't been made clear, if you ask me something or bring something up to me, it's probably gonna be days before I respond. I treat texting like emailing, if that's any indication. Anyone who has ever pm-ed me can testify to this.
I'm ready for the hot seat. Bring it. I'm pretty busy this weekend so I might not get to any questions until next week. I'm kinda like you Nico, I can be very late responding to things sometimes, especially if they aren't super important. I'll do my damndest though.
What's your favorite venue in your town? Which group would you say first kickstarted your love of hip-hop? of sweet, ripping garage rock? What's your favorite King Gizz album? Would you rather be really hot or really cold all the time? What albums are you looking forward to most for the rest of the year?

This is my first time actually paying attention to this thread, but I really enjoyed your month. Good answers and good getting to know you better.
First time bias aside, I figured I put on a lack-luster month, so I appreciate it my friend. I often forget that even when things aren't liked or responded to that they still may be read by other people. Anyway, thanks again.
Flying Monkey at Lowe Mill. I live in Huntsville, AL, so there are not many show in this town that I would even consider going to. The Lowe Mill is a nice artsy area at an old converted cotton mill. It's got a small venue (the Flying Monkey), a record store, and a few other art shops. They will occasionally get a decent show, but the pickings are mostly pretty slim. I learned recently that Ty Segall played a small show in the record store a few years ago, but I was away at Auburn and I no idea about it. Huntsville's music scene is very weak, especially for my tastes. The big arena/civic center will get some big names every once in a while (Elton John, Avett Brothers, other stuff ranging from mediocre to downright shit!). We used to have Big Spring Jam aka 'The Worst Music Festival in the History of the World'. Ok maybe not that bad, but it had to be one of the worst. Seriously, look up those lineups if you dare. I will admit that my first concert ever was The Wailers at BSJ way back in middle school, but it is all downhill from there. Unless you like shitty pop country, nickelback-esque rock, terrible rap, and christian/religious music. I don't mean to hate on my hometown/state, but it is Alabama, we're a notch above Mississippi but that's about it. Huntsville is a very nice place to live/grow up, just not for live music.
Which group would you say first kickstarted your love of hip-hop?
This is a weird one because it's Rage Against The Machine, which is not really a hip-hop group but obviously has some elements of hip-hop. I, like a bunch of other teenage boys, became obsessed with Rage when I first heard them back in middle school. They are kinda perfect for an angst-y, sometimes angry teenage boy, and I feel in love with everything they ever recorded. If you remember the Renegades covers album they did, I liked it so much that I decided to go listen to all the originals of the those songs. The first song on that album is their cover of "Microphone Fiend" by Eric. B and Rakim, which just blew me away when I first heard Rakim's version. I was transfixed, and had to delve deeper in that old school sound. So I listened to all of Rakim's stuff which led me to KRS-One/BDP, Wu-Tang, Nas, Biggie, Public Enemy, NWA, and all that led me to all that other 80s/90s hip-hop that I now love. Another song of Renegades was "I'm Housin" by EPMD, and I loved EPMD's sound. They led me to A Tribe Called Quest, which led me to Mos Def, Talib Kwali, Gangstarr, Ras Kass, MF DOOM, Madlib, El-P, which led me to all that other great underground/indie shit. I really have to thank Rakim because before that I thought that all hip-hop/rap was horrendous trash. Think mid-2000s MTV, that's the stuff that I thought was rap. Some of it was alright (Eminem, Jay-Z), but for the most part it just didn't appeal to me at all. Rakim showed me how amazing hip-hop could be when an emcee could combine intelligent/meaningful lyrics and clever wordplay with a smooth-as-silk flow so fluidly, and deliver it so powerfully. I love it because it is all about ideas and making social or political statements in a way that the masses can relate to. I put on hip-hop when I want to think. He got my foot in the door, but I must say that 3 albums in particular made me the closet hip-hop head that I am today (36 Chambers, Illmatic, and Return of the Boom Bap). Also, just to clarify, KRS-One is the greatest MC ever, and NYC hip-hop blows everything out of the water.
of sweet, ripping garage rock?
That can actually be attributed to a single show. I saw the Ty Segall/Thee Oh Sees co-headlinging tour at a small bar in Birmingham sometime around 2012, and it just knocked me off my feet. Literally, I had to go sit down and take a minute afterwards. I had heard of Thee Oh Sees, and listened to them only casually, but I had no idea who Ty was. A friend said he was going to the show. and he guaranteed that it would melt my face, and it was only 10~15 bucks, and I didn't have anything else to do, so I said why not? As you could probably guess it was insane. Ty wasn't as good live then as he is now, but he was still very good. Thee Oh Sees were fucking incredible. This was Melted/Twins/Slaughterhouse-era Ty and Carrion Crawler/The Dream-era Oh Sees, so you can guess how awesome those set lists were. I came out of there knowing that I had to complete reevaluate the garage/psych rock scene, and I'm glad I did because it is now where most of my favorite new music comes from.
What's your favorite King Gizz album?
That's easy. I'm In Your Mind Fuzz. Hands down. The first half of the record is a scorching, searing joyride at breakneck speed to the heart of your psychedelic subconscious. The second half slows down with some trippy jams that take you on a sweet, gooey psych jazz odyssey. All in all it's a masterstroke of psychedelic rock, and really just a ton of fun. It's definitely my favorite although don't sleep on Float Along/Fill You Lungs, as it's a borderline masterpiece as well.
Would you rather be really hot or really cold all the time?
I can handle being really cold better than being really hot because you can always do stuff when you're cold to make yourself warmer (more clothes/blankets, physical activity, cuddling). Yet I think if I to choose where one of those conditions would be permanent, I would go with being really hot. I don't think getting used to being hot all the time would be as bad as getting used to be permanently freezing, which just sounds miserable. Also, it's basically like having to choose between living on the Equator or at one of the Poles, and I'm choosing the Equator every time if those are the choices. Preferably somewhere on a pretty island with lots of beautiful women and good music.
What albums are you looking forward to most for the rest of the year? Massive Attack's new one is without a doubt my most anticipated. No release date yet, they just said it would be out before the end of the year. Some others I'm looking forward to are Sunn O))), Baroness, and Freddie Gibbs. Obviously King Gizz comes out tomorrow, but I've already listened to it. Other than that there isn't a lot of of other stuff I can think of. I do think January will be a good month (Ty Segall, Tortoise, Savages, Bowie).
What's your favorite holiday and why? It does not have to be one of the major holidays either.
Halloween or New Year's simply because it seems like those were the funnest, wildest parties. I mean I just love that Halloween gave hot chicks a reason to dress up in sexy, slutty costumes. Halloween and Christmas were the best as a kid, for obvious reasons.
How many states have you been to? Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, California, Alaska, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Washington D.C. So 15 states plus D.C. Those last 5 are in italics are because I was only in an airport in those states and didn't actually visit them.
How many countries (besides America) have you been to? I lived in England when I was a kid from 1997-2000, so I was very lucky to get to travel to many places in Europe. England, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Sweden. So that's 11.
What's your favorite thing about living where you do? Huntsville, AL is a nice place because it isn't exactly a Southern city. NASA was started here by Von Braun back in the 60s, and it is still one of the main locations for NASA. The shuttle was designed and built here. A lot of work with things that fly (rockets, missiles, planes, UAVs, etc.) take place here. There are just a bunch of really smart people, and most of them aren't even from here originally. They're from all over the country, so it is actually a fairly diverse city for a southern city. I don't know if it still is, but at one point Huntsville had the highest number of Ph.D's per capita. I mean my Dad is basically a rocket scientist, he is an electrical engineer that works on missiles for the DOD. I just love that there is a lot of Space and/or Aviation related research that takes place here.
What's the worst thing about living where you do? Well, it is still in Alabama. Don't get me wrong, there are much worse places to live in the world, but some of the ignorance, racism, and flat-out idiocy you see here is just disgraceful. North Alabama is actually quite beautiful, it's a bit like central Tennessee (mountains, rolling hills, forests, lakes), but South Alabama is just ugly and gets uglier the further south you go. Also, dealing with Alabama football fans just sucks (especially as a die-hard Tennessee fan), I mean it really SUCKS.
What artist/band have you seen the most times? I think it's the Avett Brothers, which is interesting because it's a band that I like but don't really love. I think I've seen them like 5 or 6 times. If I go see Ty Segall in January (which is highly possible) then I would have seen him 5 times so I'll try to make that happen. I guess now that I think about it, Les Claypool might be up there around 5 times when you consider Primus and his solo shows.
What do you want to see, and surprisingly haven't yet? Tool. And dammit I've had 3 or 4 chances to see them and it just never worked out. Portishead and Massive Attack are my other big 2 (other than pipe dreams), but i never really had a chance to see either of them.
Do you like sports? Yes and no. I love football (which was also the main sport I played growing up), rugby, soccer, and Australian rules football (look it up). I like basketball (mostly just March Madness) and tennis. I hate baseball, golf, and any other sport that is slower than molasses. Also, I hate how commercialized professional sports, especially football, are becoming. It's gotten to the point where I have to DVR NFL games, and then fast forward through the commercials. I will say that I enjoyed playing sports growing up, and I still enjoying hiking, swimming, and snow-skiing.
What's the story behind your user name? No story to be honest. It popped in my head and I thought, "Yep, that's the one!". It was around the time when Wu Tang played Bonnaroo so I was listened to a bunch of Wu Tang, so maybe that's where it came from.
What's your favorite thing from Dunkin Donuts? I'm more of a Krispy Kreme guy, and I couldn't even tell you anything off of a Dunkin Donuts menu. My favorite donut is chocolate covered, creme-filled. Those things are the shit.
Do you like Rick & Morty? Who the fuck are Rick & Morty? So I guess indifferent until I get further info.
How did you originally discover Bonnaroo? I think it was my best friend's sister (who was 3 years older than us) that first mentioned it to me in 8th or 9th grade. From what she described, I thought Roo would be a magical place. And it pretty much was/is.
And how many have you been to? I've been to 7. 2009-15. I was talking about it with some people at camp on Sunday morning this year, and one of them said, "You realize that you've been at Bonnaroo for 28 days of your life. So you've basically spent a whole month at Bonnaroo". I didn't realize it, but that is a lot of time on the farm.
What other festivals have you been to? Shakey Knees this year is the only other big one. I wen to my hometown fest Big Spring Jam several times, but it really sucked (as I mentioned in a previous post). I live so close to Bonnaroo that I haven't really felt the need to go to more festivals (although I really just haven't had the time/money).
Also, want to but haven't yet? Glastonbury, Coachella, Lolla, Levitation, Sasquatch, Voodoo, Roskilde, Wakarusa. Honestly, there aren't many festivals that I wouldn't go to at least once. Although I know a bunch of people who have been to Hangout, and what I've heard about it really gives me no desire to go.
What's your front runners for Album of the Month in November? That Anna Von Hausswolff record was incredible, so that's probably my favorite right now.
Best experience at a show? Radiohead. Bonnaroo Pit. 2012. I was in heaven. It was my third time seeing them, but my first time seeing them with an.. erm… altered metabolism (if your smelling what I'm stepping in). So I was already in a very good place mentally, emotionally, and physically, and then they come out and just rock the What Stage's sound system. There is something about that band that just connects with me more than anything else. It's like they made that music specifically for me. Honorable Mention: I have to mention that in terms of pure fun, it doesn't get much better than in the mosh at an Oh Sees show. Thee Oh Sees live = pure, unadulterated joy and awesomeness.
Worst experience at a show? My least favorite experience at show was probably Bassnectar's LN set at Roo in 2011. It was good show, I was just on the wrong you-know-whats and kinda freaked out more than the show being bad. Honestly haven't had a really terrible experience at a concert.
Your thoughts on country music? I love Johnny Cash, but I think it all went down hill from there. There's some good stuff here and there, but mostly just not my thing. I do like some bands that incorporate elements of country into their music (Wilco being the main one I'm thinking of), but I can confidently say that country music is my least favorite genre.
Metal? Fucking awesome. I love metal. Obviously it all starts with Black Sabbath. I kinda didn't listen to metal for a time, but some of the posters on this site in the Now Playing thread have reminded just how amazing metal is. Some of the new stuff coming out now is really fantastic. I could be here all day listing bands and records that I like.
Jazz? Love it, and I think I love it more and more as I get older/more mature. I used to think that Jazz was just a bunch of wanking off/showing off mish-mash of sounds, but it really is some of the most technical and complex music ever made. I think it has inspired a lot of other really creative and experimental music as well. And for some reason it just sounds better and better to me as I get older. I would still consider myself as only a casual Jazz fan with plans to listen to more as I age. Miles Davis and Mingus are my favorites, but I've really only listened to the basic classics.
Would you rather be outside in rain or snow? Snow. I live pretty far south so I don't get to experience a whole lot of snow. We probably get one good snow per year (and that's if we're lucky). I don't mind a good rain shower though, and I actually love looking at an ominous, approaching storm front.
How long do you have to date a girl before you feel comfortable masturbating in her shower?
Would you rather ride in a car with Billy Joel or visit a brothel with Lamar Odom?
How would you fix the headliner thread?
What kind of radio station was your favorite as a kid?
If you had to steal that one incredibly exclusive wu tang album would you want Nic Cage on your side a la National Treasure, or George Clooney a la Oceans 11/12/13?
I'm not really a fan of either team, but definitely War Eagle out of those two. I hate Alabama football with a passion. I've often said that I cheer for two teams on Saturday: Tennessee and Bama's opponent. Seriously, fuck the Crimson Tide. I graduated from Auburn, but I never really became a huge fan even though they won a National Championship while I went there. I was actually indifferent towards them before I went there, but going there actually made me slightly hate them as well. Their traditions suck, Auburn as a town pretty much sucks, Auburn as a school is just alright, most of Auburn's fans are just as obnoxious and ignorant as Alabama fans. I also witnessed first hand just how dirty that football program is, although I'm fairly convinced that everyone is like that. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun at Auburn, but I was just too much of a UT fan to really become a big Auburn fan. But again. Fuck Bama.
What's your dream top 4?
Unrealistic/Total Pipe Dream/Alive or Dead Friday: Talking Heads Saturday: David Bowie > Pink Floyd Sunday: The Beatles
Realistic/Feasible Friday: Tool Saturday: Portishead > Radiohead Sunday: Spiritualized (w/ full horns, strings, and choir)
So I guess not so realistic since Spiritualized would never be a headliner, but what the fuck, this is my dream bitches!
How long do you have to date a girl before you feel comfortable masturbating in her shower?
Depends on several factors, mostly dealing with what kind of person the girl is. One part of me says: Never, have some fucking respect (This is a nice thought but could be a very hard task). Another part of me says: Hopefully, I don't need to masturbate in the shower anymore because of said girlfriend (obviously the most desirable situtaion). Another part of me says: Wait a good while, you will know when the time is right (the likely scenario). And then another part of me says: Fuck it. Just do it. (Which is the scenario that men fight with all the time. Quite simply, the vast majority of men are programmed to fuck and need to orgasm regularly or they will go insane).
Would you rather ride in a car with Billy Joel or visit a brothel with Lamar Odom?
Well, I would be forced to talk to Billy if I was in a car with him while he could potentially kill us at any time. So that sounds just awful anyway you look at it. At least in the brothel scenario I would have the choice to ditch Lamar and not take whatever the fuck he was doing. When they came to tell me of Lamar's inevitable overdose, I could just say, "You know, I really just rode here with that guy, don't actually know him to well, call him an ambulance and get him some help, but other than that, I really don't give a fuck". Ok maybe not that harsh, but you know, he'd OD, we'd call an ambulance, and that would be that. At that point, I would be at a brothel... I have a dick… uh... I mean things could very well turn out exceedingly favorable for me in that scenario.
How would you fix the headliner thread?
Honestly, it's beyond repair. Several sticks of dynamite and a dose of reality wouldn't hurt. Although, fuck it, let's just keep it in all it's bat-shit loonery, fantastic ridiculousness, nuttery, and complete dumpster-fire glory. Basically it's a beautiful pile of shit. Only so much you can do, but a pile of shit is still a pile of shit.
What kind of radio station was your favorite as a kid?
Don't have a specific station, but it was just whatever was playing classic rock. Never really listened to the radio that much as a kid, and I don't listen to it at all now unless I'm forced.
If you had to steal that one incredibly exclusive wu tang album would you want Nic Cage on your side a la National Treasure, or George Clooney a la Oceans 11/12/13?
The Oceans gang for sure. For starter's they would teach me how to be uber-cool and they are actual professional thieves, so I might make some money with them later. Wasn't Nic Cage's character just like an Indiana Jones, good smaritan type. Fuck that, if I'm doing something illegal, I might as well make a shitload of money off of it. Actually never saw National Treasure, but I'm sure Cage was the same awkward, cringe-inducing dork that he is in just about every movie he has ever made.

Those were really good responses; way to be bmotm.
If you had to eat one meal for a month, and only that meal, what would it be?
What is your favorite color, and more importantly, WHY is it your favorite color?
You (as a young person) have a choice between knowing the exact time of your death, or learning of all your accomplishments in life; which would you choose?
When was the last time you crossed state lines? Last week when I went to see Fuzz in Nashville.
What's your favorite style of pizza? Pepperoni with stuffed crust What's your favorite toppings on a pizza? Pepperoni, bacon, sausage, green peppers, banana peppers, ham, pineapple. Fuck man I like almost everything, I'm not a very picky eater at all.
Do you have any traditions for Thanksgiving? Nothing other than the normal stuffing of faces and watching football.
Target or Walmart? Wally World is cheaper, but Target is higher quality. I could go either way. Home Depot or Lowes? I honestly can't think of many differences between them. So again, indifferent. Popeyes or KFC? KFC all the way. Ford or Chevy? Chevy, but mainlybecause I'll take almost anything over a Ford. Not partial to American cars at all. The Japanese, Germans and Scandinavians are the ones that know how to build a car. Interestingly enough, I drive a Pontiac G8, which was actually the American version of some Australian car, and I love my fucking car.
Those were really good responses; way to be bmotm.
If you had to eat one meal for a month, and only that meal, what would it be?
Might as well make about the most delicious meal I can think of: Thanksgiving Dinner. Turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, vegetables, pumpkin pie, etc. Doesn't matter what it is, if you have to eat it for a month straight, you will get tired of it. So might as well make it good.
What is your favorite color, and more importantly, WHY is it your favorite color?
Sorry I'm gonna cheat since I have two. Deep, pure blue and forest green. Just think they're beautiful. They're the color of the sky, the ocean, the trees, and the grass. So really I guess I like them the best because they are the two most prominent colors in nature. Honorable Mention: Tennessee Orange. Not much prettier to me than a sea of Tennessee orange, 100,000 strong in a packed Neyland Stadium.
You (as a young person) have a choice between knowing the exact time of your death, or learning of all your accomplishments in life; which would you choose? Nice one. Knowing your exact time of death seems depressing and shitty at first, yet after I thought about it here for a minute, I think it would be really useful. Knowing when you are going to die precisely might actually help you in the long run. You would be more motivated to get out and experience life to the fullest knowing that you had until this exact time to get shit done. In the end, you might end up accomplishing more with your life if you had that type of motivation.
whats the most money you've ever spent to see a show? (travel/lodging/tix, etc)
Bonnaroo is by far the most I spent going to a music related event. They usually run me several hundred dollars when you consider the ticket and then everything else you have to get on top of that to be ready for Roo. The most I've spent on a single show was my first Radiohead show. We got 12th row seats for 130 bucks. So add in $40-50 for gas and food, and there you go. It was totally worth it by the way.
when you were about 10 or so, what did you want to be when you grew up? how would 10 year old you feel about you now?
Honestly when I was 10, I wanted to be Peyton Manning, or at least a college/professional football player. He was my hero from about 5 years old on when he started playing for UT (I was born in 1990). Still love the guy, and I am sad to see that this is probably his last year. Well since I didn't exactly become Peyton Manning, my 10 year old self might be a bit disappointed in me. But that's life isn't it, most of our 10 year old-selves would probably be slightly disappointed in us. But that's what growing up is all about, 99% of us end up realizing that our childhood hopes and dreams aren't going to come true, and that's ok because there is still so much more to life other than becoming the first thing you wished you would become. My 10 year old self would at least be glad that I am a happy and good person. I think I would think I was pretty cool. It is incredible to think about how much I could teach that little fucker right now LOL.
where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Everything else aside, I just hope that I'm happy. It doesn't really matter where I am or what I'm doing, etc. I truly believe the key to life is happiness. My degree is in Aviation Management, and I actually trained to be a pilot for about 3 years in college. That's actually the reason I went to Auburn. During college I decided I didn't want to be a professional pilot, but there is still the whole rest of the Aviation industry. I've considered being an Air Traffic Controller, Flight Dispatcher, Airport Manager, etc., but had a little trouble finding a really good job in the business. I'm confident that I'll find something and work my way up. For the most part, the job really doesn't matter. I could see myself very happy as a high school football coach in 20 years. Whatever it is, it still ends up just being a job. As far as a starting a family, it be nice but not something I'm going to force, like some of my friends seem to be doing. Not all of them, but some. I think I might be happiest as a life long bachelor who just has girlfriends instead of a wife. I'm not saying starting a family sucks, just that I don't feel obligated to do it. If it happens, great. If it doesn't happen, great. I will say that even if I do get married, I'm not sure that I ever want to have kids. Not that I hate kids, I love kids. I'm just not wild about the idea of bringing another human being into this fucked up world and being totally responsible for their life. I know by watching some of my friends who have had kids early, it is just a lot of work. It's great, but for better or for worse, having a kid irreversibly changes your life forever. I say this, and I'll probably end up getting married in the near future and have like 5 kids LOL. Again. it doesn't really matter what I'm doing, I just hope I'm a happy, joyful person. That's really all there is to it, isn't it? Be a good and decent person, seek happiness, and dammit, don't ruin it for anybody else, including yourself.
what is your most valuable (as defined by you) possession?
Probably my iPod. I can lose a lot of shit, but if I lose my iPod, I will lose my shit! I have one of the 160 gig classics, which I've already filled up and had to take stuff off to put new stuff on. It really is one of the greatest inventions ever. Just the fact that I can hold close to 20,000 songs in the palm of my hand. Amazing! Music is one of the main things that gives me hope for humanity, and so my music is just kinda a part of my soul. I listen to music almost all the time, basically whenever I'm able to. I'm bad at losing things as well. I've lost countless phones, keys, a couple of wallets, a whole lot of other shit, but I've never lost an iPod. I had one break, and that put me in total crisis meltdown mode. Never lost one though, that should tell you something. Honorable mentions would be my record player and my car. Sorry it wasn't something cool like my granddad's old knife or something, but I'm not a very nostalgic person.
do you play any instruments?
Nope. Despite being a music lover, I've never had any real musical talent. I took piano lessons as a kid, and was probably very average. I played trumpet in middle school band, but wasn't very good. A friend and I ended up hating the band director so much that towards the last half of the year we actually started competing over last chair in the trumpets. For those who don't know what that means, we were purposely trying to be the WORST player in the trumpet line not the best LOL. The band director really was a little control freak with napoleon syndrome, a real piece of sawed-off shit. Although has anyone ever met a middle school band director that wasn't a cock. I attempted to play guitar and bass in college, but I had fucked my hands up so much playing football that I just simply didn't have the dexterity/flexibility to do it.
why auburn instead of UT?
I actually went to UT for my freshman year, and really loved it but I transferred to Auburn to go to flight school (and out of state tuition is a sonofabitch). The only two schools in the south with really good flight programs are Middle Tennessee St. and Auburn, so AU was just kinda the obvious choice since I was from Alabama and I already had a bunch of friends at Auburn. I was a very good high school football player, and I always thought I would go some small D2 or D3 college to play football. Unfortunately I broke my leg in both my Jr. and Sr. years, so I never really got recruited and had to then pick a school like everyone else. UT is my family's school: both my parents went there along with most of my aunts and uncles, and I had always wanted to go there. So living in Hess Hall for a year was a ton of fun. Auburn was great too (I still like Knoxville and UT better), and the Flight program was a really awesome experience. Even though I didn't complete it, I did get my instrument rating and almost 200 hours of total flight time. All in all, I wouldn't change a thing, both UT Knoxville and Auburn were positive experiences and really fun albeit a shitload of hard work as well.
do you collect vinyl, and what was the first album you got?
I only started a few years ago, so my collection is still very small. Just counted and I was actually surprised to find that I have 35 records right now (I thought it would be less). The first one I ever got is actually the one I've listened to the least. It's a used Japanese version of the Beatles Greatest Hits. It's all the best stuff from their early years. I just never listen to it since it is in pretty rough shape, but I'm never gonna get rid of it since it was the first one I got. I actually got Kid A and Meddle at same time since my dad got them for me for Christmas (pretty sure I asked him to get me one each of the Beatles, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd records), but the Beatles one was technically the first one I opened. The first one I ever bought with my own money was probably one of OK Computer, In Rainbows, or DSotM. Can't exactly remember.
would you rather never wear socks again or have to jog everywhere for the rest of your life (ie: no walking again)?
Fuck that's a tough one. I'm gonna go with jogging everywhere. I actually hate not wearing socks because my feet sweat so much that I will ruin a pair of shoes if I don't wear socks. Also, if I jogged everywhere I would be in tremendous shape. Just think of how much ass I would kick at Bonnaroo. I'd get to see everything. Honestly, either of those scenarios would suck for me personally. Although I guess they would suck for just about everyone.

So have you lived in Knoxville other than the year at UT? (I'm just curious because you were born the same year as my little brother.)

Nope. I might live there in the future though, hopefully anyway.
