Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

When I first joined, I remember that you had Trevor Powers as your Avatar. Is Year of Hibernation particularly meaningful to you? If so, where does rank amongst your favorite albums?

How much do you hate Ray Allen for going to Miami?
A large part of my NBA fandom died when Ray Allen was traded to the Sonics, especially since it was at the request of George Karl who was a pretty big turd. As a 14 year old it’s hard to have a player easier to root for than Allen. He legitimately wanted to stay in Milwaukee, which isn’t exactly something a lot of star athletes want to do. Because of that, I’ll always love him and it’d be ridiculous for me to hate him for anything. And btw I’d root for the Heat before I’d root for the Celtics.
How much do you hate Scott Walker and Paul Ryan?
Scale of 1-10? Probably like 9 for Walker and 8 for Ryan. Walker's higher because his legislation has a much more direct impact on me than does Ryan's.
What is your favorite Wisconsin beer?
For every great local beer I've had, there are a hundred I haven't had the chance to. There's a pretty great brewery called Lakefront in Milwaukee, and my favorite as of late has been their Riverwest Stein. www.lakefrontbrewery.com/riverwest_stein_lager.html. I also love Oktoberfest beers, and there are tons of good ones around here so this is an exciting time.

Let's establish a baseline. What is your favorite...
album of all time?
Abbey Road
album of 2012?
The Walkmen-Heaven
concert of all time?
Arcade Fire Lollapalooza 2010
concert of 2012?
Jack White Lollapalooza
musical group/artist of all time?
Normally I'd say The Beatles in a heartbeat, but I've been on a massive Talking Heads kick the last couple months. It's more of a 1a and 1b situation I guess.
musical group/artist you discovered in 2012?
Probably Tanlines. I've played that album a sh*tton.
bonnaroo year lineup?
Only been to 2011 unfortunately, but I remember thinking the '09 lineup was ridiculously stacked for my tastes.
book?
A Clockwork Orange.
author?
To be honest it's kind of embarrassing how infrequently I read. I know a lot of people say this, but something has to be SUPER compelling for it to hold my interest. I can't say there's one author in particular that clearly stands out for me.
movie?
Empire Strikes Back.
tv show?
Drama: The Wire. Comedy: Choosing between Seinfeld and Arrested Development is torture. I'll say Seinfeld by the tiniest of margins ever.
jelly bean flavor/color?
Red/cherry.
planet?
Neptune
color?
Blue? I honestly don't really have one.
adult beverage?
Beer. I used to be able to drink hard alcohol like a fiend freshman and sophomore year of college, but now I'm a lame old man who has a tummy ache the following morning if I have a couple of mixed drinks.

Describe your favorite deli-style sandwich.
Thinly sliced ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and cucumbers that I'll pick off and eat separately because they're better that way.
Be the driver or the passenger?
If it's a road trip then passenger because you're able to see more cool stuff, but shorter ride I'd rather drive cause most of my friends have garbage taste in music and I don't want to subject myself to that.
Favorite music to blast while driving with the window down?
Pretty much any electronic/synth pop/80's throwback type stuff. Cut Copy/Hot Chip/M83/Chromatics. M83's Hurry Up We're Dreaming was in my car for about four months after it came out last year.
High school senior prom: Horrible night or treasured memory?
I never went to prom, although the night of my senior prom let's just say there were all sorts of doubles and triples hit in my crappy 15 year old car with a girl that was kind of my girlfriend but not really at the time. So I'd like to think I somewhat experienced prom while missing out on the whole paying $80 to listen to shitty music and awkwardly dance for four hours.
Tomato: A fruit or a vegetable?
Vegetable.
While watching a comedy/stand-up alone: Laugh out loud or smile quietly to yourself?
Smile quietly. It takes a lot to get me to laugh out loud. I've actually gotten in drunken discussions with friends over what % of people are funny and I always say wayyy lower than most other people say.
When I first joined, I remember that you had Trevor Powers as your Avatar. Is Year of Hibernation particularly meaningful to you? If so, where does rank amongst your favorite albums?
Not particularly, no. I mean there was a stretch last winter (when I first heard the album and probably when I switched my avatar?) where I listened to it every morning for a couple weeks straight. Just seemed like such a good album to wake up to.
Probably one of my 10 favorites from 2011, but nothing really more beyond that.

Have you broken any bones? How? Do you still have your tonsils? Appendix? Wisdom teeth?
It's pretty cool I guess. There are probably much more interesting people that could've been chosen.
Right pinky in 5th grade playing basketball, cracked a bone in my right hand punching my brother in 5th grade over a video game (long story where everyone agrees I'm in the right but I guess it's for another time when I'm not stealing people's spotty internet), and left pinky in 7th grade gym class playing a game called pin guard, which is basically dodgeball on steroids. So basically all lameass injuries.
And the only thing removed from me has been my wisdom teeth when I was 16.

Congrats glennron. You don't know this but if Fawn wasn't keen on being BMotM after me you were my next choice to follow me.

I haven't forgotten about this! I don't have internet yet at my new place and have actually been busy enough at work where I don't have time to pass the time on Inforoo. Sad times.
If you could give away anything at a tent in Bonnarroo what would it be?
Easy/boring answer, but just a boatload of free bottled water. And I think I maybe read this on here about another festival, but try to incentivize picking up the bottles and if you reach a certain amount you get some money off next year's Bonnaroo ticket. Or something. It's probably not feasible whatsoever but sounds good in theory.
If you were able to make your own fest, what would it be called, who would play, what cool things would have you have there?
Festival of Reunited Bands That Are Both Really Good And Have All Living Original Members. Talking Heads would headline both nights with no repeats. I wouldn't even care who else was there. And the cool things I'd have would be the Talking f*cking Heads playing music.
What is your favorite thread on Inforoo?
Probably Random Thoughts. Really though, anything in The Other Tent because it's not full of morons with their ridiculous predictions for next year's lineup. But Now Playing Dos is easily the best music-related thread.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
We were at a school-wide assembly in 3rd grade and I was sitting cross-legged wearing sweatpants. Any dude knows when you're that age you just start randomly popping boners for no apparent reason. Naturally, I get a NARB during this assembly with a 4th grade girl (remember how big of a difference 1 grade was when you were that young?) sitting next to me. To this day, I can perfectly picture her looking over at me, making eye contact, looking down at my lap to see a nice point in my sweatpants, looking back at me and SCREAMING loudly. Like she had just seen everyone she loved massacred B-movie style. It was seriously disconcerting for the longest time. It was a small elementary school and I'd see this girl all the time. I didn't even want to wear sweatpants anymore.
Obviously this hasn't really been embarrassing for like 12 years, but at the time it was pretty rough.

What was your favorite subject in school?
Just about anything Social Studies related. "Recent" American History (Post-Civil War-Present Day) was probably my favorite. For a while I had thoughts of being a history teacher, until I realized how much kids annoy me.
What is your favorite color and why?
Already answered this with probably blue, but I don't really have one. As for the reason I couldn't tell you; there's probably some psychology behind it that I don't know.
Would you rather be stranded on a tropical island, Siberian tundra, or in the Jungles of the Congo? Why? How would you go about your day?
Tropical Island. I hate really hot weather, and I'd probably be mauled by a Silverback or something in the Congo. Freezing to death doesn't sound ideal either. At least on an island you could maybe find reprieve in the shade or something. I'd probably attempt to survive for like 5 days, then give up and walk straight into the ocean Skyler White style.

-what is scarier while trying to eat you, t-rex or great white shark?
Planet Earth taught me all I need to know about Great Whites. I can't imagine a scarier creature in existence.
Obviously I could just stay stationary and the T-rex wouldn't even see me.
-celebrity crush?
Marion Cotillard. I want to marry her. Or the woman who played Shoshonna in Inglorious Basterds.
Today I learned I apparently have a thing for French women?
-do you have any siblings?
Brother who's three years older than me.
-what tv shows do you watch on sunday nights?
Well it was Breaking Bad, but we all know we'll have to wait nine more months . Otherwise when I had HBO a couple years ago I really enjoyed Boardwalk Empire, Curb, and Bored to Death. Not even sure if Board to Death is still on T.V.
-what is your biggest driving pet peeve?
Before I got a job as a pizza delivery driver I was a super patient driver, but that ended pretty quickly. I'd say the worst is probably when a car turns out in front of you when there isn't a single car behind you, then proceeds to go slower than you were going. I'm not even close to a speed demon either so I feel like this is pretty legitimate.
Somehow I missed the cake and neon one? Cake=Funfetti cake. and I don't own anything neon.

Congrats glennron. You don't know this but if Fawn wasn't keen on being BMotM after me you were my next choice to follow me.
Well that's awfully sweet of you. You're definitely the nicest New York sports fan I've never met.
What state have you never been to that you have a hankering to see?
There are a ton of states I haven't seen that I wish I could. Anything on the Pacific Coast, New York, New England in general. Anywhere in Northern California, Oregon, or Washington State would top the list, though. And actually I'll be able to cross of New York in three days, but it'll be for work and it's Buffalo. I'll have to hit up the Applebee's Willis McGahee raved about.
Do you think it's odd that you don't really have a favorite color and are you aware that it can get you thrown off of Monty Python's bridge of doom?
Yeah it's probably odd. And one of my go to never have I ever's is that I've never seen any of the Monty Python's. (Are there multiple ones? See, I don't even know.)
Do you listen to any music prior to The Beatles? If so what genre?
Not really. My dad is a pretty big blues fan so once in a while I'll hear some B.B. King or Muddy Waters or whatever and think hey this is pretty cool I should listen more, but then I never do. Maybe your question will inspire me.
What is your favorite holiday to party out on?
Either Memorial Day or Fourth of July. No family obligations+good friends+good beer+grilling out+(usually) good weather+baseball=bliss.
If you had to give up a sense, which would you choose? You get to choose the next president, it doesn't have to be a current candidate, who is it? Superman or Batman? If you could have a superpower which would you choose?
-Sense of smell. -Russ Feingold. I just about cried when he lost his Senate seat two years ago. -Batman. -Probably read people's minds.
Also: Are you a morning or night person? Favorite pet of all time? (Please post pics if you have them) What is your favorite time of day/night? Next concert you will attend? Favorite snack food? Preferred footwear? How many pillows are on your bed? Is your bed currently made? (be honest) Do you follow the news regularly? If so, where do you find it?
Or questionsssss: Text or call? Pen or Pencil? Shower at night or in the morning? Candles or incense? Big spoon or little spoon?
