Do you have a dedicated sewing/craft area? If so, can we see pictures?
What are your three favorite Atlanta restaurants?
Do you ever eat at Fat Matt's? Can you mail me some ribs?
What is the last concert you went to?
What is the last album you bought?
Do you have a dedicated sewing/craft area? If so, can we see pictures? - I do! But... it's a total mess. It looks like a hoarder lives in my craft room. Too further explain, I have the widest version of one of IKEAs closets, and it is packed. With ribbon, fabric, tulle, glitter, glue, a bag dedicated to adhesives, all my tools, a couple tool boxes, a couple large tupperwares of yarn and things I want to scrapbook, scrapbook containers... the list goes on. ...I did just get the new sewing machine though! I will post pics when it's not so insane in there.
Do you ever eat at Fat Matt's? Can you mail me some ribs? I have eaten at Fat Matt's. But I go for the sweet potato pie. DANG. Also, I will be happy to mail you some ribs!
What is the last concert you went to? See Steph's question above Passion Pit, Matt&Kim, Icona Pop at Madison Square Garden
What is the last album you bought? The new JT (Justin Timberlake, for you new fans). I've loved him for a long time. Looooong time. I'm pretty happy with the new work.

Also, I must have read A Wrinkle in Time a hundred times! Did you read the other ones? (A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, and Many Waters)
You know what? I HAVE read them, but I hardly remember them! Isn't that weird... I just love the first one SO MUCH. Maybe I'll read it again this weekend. maybe I will be inspired to read the rest of the stories too. <3

- Favorite Atlanta music venue? - Favorite neighborhood? - What are your top 3 ATL BBQ restaurants? Details encouraged, but ranking will suffice. - Have you ever received a lap dance from Blondie? - Would you ever live OTP?
- Favorite Atlanta music venue? Toughie. I think that the Masq - Heaven may be my favorite. It's just small enough that you can be up ON the artists or be way in the back, but still feel like it's intimate, and you can still feel involved. I love the Tab, but it's getting too expensive. I love the Earl, but it's super smokey and almost too small. The arenas are just arenas. Variety is definitely second only to the Masq... Yeah, Masq Heaven feels about right, but VP could tie it up.
- Favorite neighborhood? I lived in Toco Hills for 1 year, Sandy Springs for 2 years, the Highlands for 2 years, and now Decatur for 3.5. I think I can say with confidence that I enjoyed living in the Highlands for the time it was in my life, and I love living in Decatur for this time. I love both for their walking atmosphere, and the food/beer varieties. But I love Decatur more because the feeling is more about HOME. the Highlands is about fun, and partying, (and I know that people do) but the feeling is that no one really "LIVES" there. So I guess I'll go with Decatur. Honorable mention: Oakhurst, EAV, L5P. Fun times.
- What are your top 3 ATL BBQ restaurants? Details encouraged, but ranking will suffice. Why do I not have more love for BBQ? Is that weird??? Okay here I go. 1. Harolds BBQ - It's closed now, but their brunswick stew was the best I've EVER had. 2. Dreamland - Yeah yeah, chain chain. I know. But the pork is SO FLAVORFUL. And it smells wonderful in the parking lot. 3. Fox Bros. - the wings. Good Lord the wings.
- Have you ever received a lap dance from Blondie? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA no. Tbh, Never been to the Clairmont. As someone who shopped at the Murder Kroger for a couple years, I am well aware of the place, but have yet to actually make it there. In general, when it's 3am and I need to keep it going, Im at Metalsome. or waffle house.
- Would you ever live OTP? Nope. No way. I'm a city girl. And I know that people make promises when they don't have kids, that they break 100% of the time when they DO have kids, but I could live in Decatur forever, even with kids. Someone was telling me the other day that there are a couple schools here that are like #1 in the state and high up for the country as well. I dont think you have to take your children to the burbs to teach them to be great human beings. If you want to, that's cool, I just feel like there is so much MORE in the city, culturally, that can enrich your kids lives too. So if you can find a good learning facility that is safe - why not stay in town, if that's who YOU are as a person.

What contraction best sums up the meaning of life?
I can go super fun or super deep on this one... I'm gonna go with "He's". Many of you guys that know me IRL, know that I am a Christian. I believe that HE WAS and HE IS ("He" meaning the Judeo-Christian God). I believe He was for a long as forever can go before, and that He is present in my everyday life, and that He will be forever as far as forever can go (mathmatically, He is the Mandelbrot Set... get it?! INFINITY! ) My meaning of life is to show His love through me. So yeah, "HE'S"

If you had to move to another country, where would you move?
What's the most delicious food you've ever eaten in your life?
Coolest thing you've ever been for Halloween?
Edit: I couldn't have picked a better way to use my 1,200 post!
White, milk, or dark chocolate? DARK CHOCOLATE. Barney Stinson: I only have ONE rule. More is better. MORE COCOA is better. And white chocolate? that's actually not even chocolate. It's sugar and wax. EWWWW.
What was your favorite cartoon growing up? The Smurfs!!! Well, and Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Ponies and He-Man. Yes, He-Man. OH! And Thundercats. THUNDERCATS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Pirates or ninjas? Why? Ninjas. Forever. They live with honor, don't require any equipment or stuff other than their CUNNING AND SKILL and can kill you before you realize you've been killed. Pirates need ships, talk funny, and they're stealers. Jerks.
If you had to move to another country, where would you move? Germany. Hands down. My family comes from there, and my family that is still there are some of the sweetest, smartest, people ever. And apparently you can smoke like a chimney, and eat nothing but carbs and beer, and be beautiful forever. Sign me up.
What's the most delicious food you've ever eaten in your life? hmmmm...... I've had some fancy foods. But my Dad can GRILL y'all. I've said before I think that MAGIC lives in that grill. So I'll go with my dad's grilled shrimp.
Coolest thing you've ever been for Halloween? HA!!! I was the Bomb.com one year. I was in a round black tube dress that I made, with a headband that looked like a fuse lit. And I've been Rainbow Brite, a Care Bear, Hermione Grainger, and as we discovered in the random thread - WONDER WOMAN. yeahhhhh.
AND CONGRATS ON YOUR 1200TH POST!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAAYYYYYY!

Do you have a favorite type of fabric to work with?
Also, if you could splurge on one craft tool/piece of equipment/material, what would it be?
What (or who) got you started crafting? - My dad. He was 1 of 5 kids, and the only boy. And my grandma insisted that he know everything that the girls had to know and vice versa. So he taught me how to sew AND how to cook. The man's a genius.
What is your favorite type of craft to do? - I really love making things that are useful and long lasting. i.e. furniture. I would love to refinish and paint furniture for a living.
Do you have a favorite type of fabric to work with? - Nope. No favorite. I truly havent worked with a lot of fabrics. While the panda hoods are fun, the fur is ATROCIOUS to work with. Those couple months of crafting those, it was like a fur blizzard in my house.
AND
Also, if you could splurge on one craft tool/piece of equipment/material, what would it be? - WELL I WOULD say sewing machine, but I already got one of those! The next big ticket item on my list is a damn Cricut Expression. I want one SO BAD but they're ridiculously expensive. But if I had one, I could cut out the most intricate lovely fantastic paper and felt items ever made. ...If I didnt get a Cricut, I'd have a screenprint for fabric. I helped a friend make t-shirts once for an art event, and it was so awesome.

It's been a while since I checked this topic, and I'm a bit surprised The Mayo has NOT been BMotM until now.
HA! Thanks LD
1 - How often do you go to backwards time (aka Central Time)?
I go up to Nashvegas every couple months I suppose. For work Im generally in the EST.
2 - Have you ever been to Texas before?
YES. I have fam in Houston and Austin and College Station. I loooooooove TX, and if I didnt live in ATL, my 2nd choice would be ATX.
3 - What's your favorite type of chocolate?
Dark Chocolate. The more cocoa the better.
4 - Would you ever consider coming to Rhode Island? For Newport Folk?
YES I would! It's really just a matter of money. I have a limited amount of vaca time, and also a limited amount of fests I can afford. There are some staples (i.e. Bonnaroo) so it's just a pre-planning issue.
5 - What type of car do you drive?
Mazda3S. with the "sun & fun" package. It's sweet little car. I used to have a 2000 Celica, and she was my baby. But I got her up to almost 270K. So it was time to sell and get a new one. Have had the Mazda for about a year now. I even took it to Roo last year!
6 - Do you use public transportation?
Marta all the time. It's an easy way to get downtown if I know that I may have a couple booze drinks and need to not drive home.
7 - Favorite types of beer?
#TeamCider in da house. Also, my favorite beer ever is Sammy Smiths Winter Welcome. I still have ONE left in my fridge from this past season.
8 - What do you think of people who would say you aren't "Christian enough" because you drink, smoke, and hang out at music festivals?
I think those people just don't see the big picture. There is no "Christian enough", you either are or you aren't. Also, we're all human beings and we aren't perfect. Jesus was about loving people, regardless of their sin. So the fact that I occasionally have a beer, have a drag on a cig (I dont do the cornz), and frequent music fests doesn't make me a crappy Christian. It just makes me a person who enjoys those things. Im not sure where the idea that being a Christian means holing up in your perfect little house and keeping your nose in the bible and not sinning came from - but it's silly and unattainable. Life is for living and loving. Matthew 22:37-40 (MSG)
9 - What's the dumbest reason you've ever called out of work for?
good one. I was gonna say I dont have a "dumb" reason bc anything that gets me out of work is the JAM - but I do have one... I definitely took a day off (vaca now, i wasn't playing sick) for the marathon of the Twilight movies the day that the last one came out. My friend and I put about a deli's worth of food in our giant bags, brought a pillow and a blankie, and a couple flasks of vodka, and spent the day at the movie theater watchin all five twilight films.
10 - Beaches or mountains?
Beach. Hands down. Im a girl who loves the sun.
11 - Best album of 2013 so far?
I haven't really done much research. So I'll go with JT and the 20/20 Experience.
12 - What Inforooster do you think you have the most in common with?
WELLLLLLL, Me and CKS have similar tastes for animals, cuteness, food, and overall squealiness. Me and EAP and Dani and Plastic Pepper craft our donkeys off.
13 - What Inforooster have you not met yet, or met very briefly, that you would want to see most?
14 - Who would you say are the best five rappers out there right now?
Im not generally a rap follower. soooo these could be way off?? Jay-Z. that Macklemore kid? I really loved snoop and dre chronic 2001... Jimmy Fallon?
15 - F*ck the corporate world: what companies do you despise and why?
I generally dislike the federal government in any capacity and controlled by any party. I don't really have a corporation or company that I despise off the top of my head. I just like people (and companies) to be transparent and truthful. OH OKAY I THOUGHT OF ONE - the FDA. Those smurfs lie about everything.

I love you JHo.
Favorite kind of cheese?
Ahhh cheese. We share this love, JHo! I have favorite cheeses for different items. i.e. fresh shaved mozz is the BEST in a salad. Extra sharp cheddar all day long on a black pepper/olive oil triscuit. Butterkase by the block at any time. Pepper Jack on anything spicy. Feta on pizza. .......I do have a fondness for the Drunken Goat cheese that I have when I am in Germany with my fam. We eat it for breakfast.
Favorite N'Sync song? (I see "Tearin' up my heart" mentioned above, but really, we know there are superior N'Sync songs)
THIS is one of many reasons why we are friends. I am a big fan of the Celebrity album, bc there was definite growth from the first album N*Sync - also, much more danciness. BUT I love so many NSync songs, JHo!! So Im gonna go with the following as my top 5 (in no particular order) NSync songs: Pop, I Want You Back, Just Got Paid, Gone, and The Two of Us.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be someone who doesnt live paycheck to paycheck, and who loves doing their job everyday. (job on the mind much?) I also want to be a wife and mom. I also want to be a big cat person - like, not a vet because I dont want to deal with blood and guts and stuff, but I want to hang out with lions all day.
The first Inforooster you met?
DUH!!! YOU!!! You walked right up to me at the 2009 Brunch and said - Hey I'm JHo! And then we were besties.
Have you ever broken any bones?
Yes - my tailbone. I was at a frat party in college, it had been raining and to get to the car we had to walk down the dirt drive (yes, I went to school in southern GA), and my friend was carrying me princess-style so I wouldnt dirty up my shoes. He and the other dude also carrying a girl princess-style to the car decided to race. And us ladies thought that was a great idea. So they started running, and my friend fell and though he NEVER let go of me, I landed right on my coccyx. I used to have that x-ray somewhere. I had to carry a donut around campus for months.
When will I get to see you again?!?
I KNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Im so poor right now that gas to Nashville is not feasible, and you're saving for Glasto!!! We will have to make plans so I can save up some gas moola and come see you before you go. We can just eat ice cream and watch Unsolved Mysteries for days.

What show are you most looking forward to at roo 2013?
Tbh, I haven't really researched anyone bc I've been so swamped with life. BUT - Im super pumped that Bjork is headlining. I imagine that her show will be a spectacle. Billy Idol is also going to be a highlight for me. Also, Im always happy and excited to see The National. And Purity Ring was so good earlier this year that I'm excited to see them play the Farm. It's always special on the Farm.
How many 'tus have you made?
Like, in my life? or just this year? Since I started for Roo last year, I have no idea how many I've made - there were the RooTus, the DudeTus, I made some little girls tu outfits, 6 or so for the color run, 8-10 for a friend's 5K team.... But for this year and only for Roo specifically, 7.5 (one is in prog for abrakapokus).
What is your favorite childhood memory?
There are a couple, and they're both kind of general. Before I was in school, I remember my mom wearing her orange and white striped robe and making me scrambled eggs, putting them in a little bowl and sitting me down at the our copper coffee table to eat and watch the Price is Right and Sally Jesse Raphael (or Donahue...). Those were the days. Also, I remember being pretty little and spending Christmas's at my g-ma's house in Florida with all my dad's side extended family. I usually got there, walked in and right up to the kitchen counter and got a piece of my Aunt Cindy's fudge. Then I basically had a piece of fudge in my hand for the rest of the trip. And here's one more thats specific - when we visited with my Omi (my mom's mom) I would sleep in her room, and when we woke up in the morning, I'd always ask her to tell me a story, and it was always Hansel & Gretel, and she'd do all the voices for the kids and the witch and when she told me the part where H & G would pick little candies off the witches house, she'd pinch me on my arms and legs and I'd laugh and laugh.

Have you ever called out of work from a bar before? What is the longest time you've been stuck at an airport for? What's the furthest north you've been? How many states have you been to? Countries? Name your five top places you'd like to vacation, and have not been to yet?
Have you ever called out of work from a bar before?
hahahahahahaha, I dont think so. But I've definitely wanted to. I've also really wanted to call out from a show before; Neon Indian 2012... that was a night.
What is the longest time you've been stuck at an airport for?
Never overnight thank goodness! But I have had a direct flight home cancelled, so I got a connecting flight that same time, and then been stuck at the connecting airport for about 4 hours. It was also after a day where I had been working alllllll day, and I looked like a homeless person. That was the day I decided to start carrying a headband in my work travel bag - so I could just push my hair back and not look so homeless the next time I got stuck.
What's the furthest north you've been?
If you are referring to the North East, I have been to Cape Cod. But by latitude, Berlin, Germany. In the US by latitude, Spokane, Washington.
How many states have you been to? Countries?
I have to count! US States: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota (I flew through Minneapolis!), Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington. 31! Woo! Countries is easy - US, Mexico, Canada, Germany. :)If we're counting flying through places, England, too. Had a 5 hour layover at Heathrow once.
Name your five top places you'd like to vacation, and have not been to yet?
GOOD QUESTION. Not in any particular order: 1 - The resort in Fiji from Couples Retreat. 2 - San Diego (Hollaaaaaaaa CKS!) 3 - Tokyo, Japan 4 - The whole UK (yes, Im counting that as one.) 5 - Hawaii

GOOD QUESTION. Not in any particular order: 2 - San Diego (Hollaaaaaaaa CKS!)
Wooooooooo, when are you coming? I have the couch/bed made and the baby panda isn't getting any younger
IDK, maybe early fall? like, September-ish? Then we can see the baby panda, and eat at Slaters 50/50, and do all kinds of San Diego stuff I dont even KNOW about!!!
Is there anything at bonnaroo you haven't experienced yet that you would like to (comedy, silent disco, arcade, waterslide, a clean porta potty, etc)?
I'm pretty sure I've hit up every thing you can do at Roo, except the water "park" and the slide. Im not keen on the idea that dirty bodies have been stewing in those little kiddie pools all day... BUT the slide looks fun! I think I haven't done it because in general I try to stay dry at Roo. i.e. I dont bathe in the Fountain, the only water on me is the spritz of the misting fan. ...I did hang out in the Fountain last year though, so maybe this year I can stomach the water slide. I remember back in the day when the only "extracurricular" activity was the MLB batting cage. Those were the days! (slaps knee)
If there's one thing I haven't done it's camp in anything other than GA. I think I'd like to try it, but I'm not crazy about accomplishing that goal. GA is just fine with me. I love my little 5 day slum!!
