What’s the worst show you’ve ever been to (that you actually wanted to attend)?
Chvrches show I went in 2014. I liked their debut album a lot, and wanted to see them live, but their live performance felt flat. My interest in them dramatically decreased after that show.
Would you rather every time you fart it sounds like a super loud whoopie cushion TV type fart and lasts a minimum of 3 seconds but doesn't smell like anything, or every time you fart it is silent but it smells like red bull and vodka?
If you had to live in a world where there is NO toast, or a world where there are NO biscuits (american terminology), which would you choose?
hahahahaha excellent question!
I'd rather go with the odorless & loud one. I wouldn't wanna be sneaky.
And I cannot imagine a world where there are no biscuits. It's one of my favorite food. I'd be fine without a toast.
I'm from Turkey Will be taking some time off, staying with my parents after many (12, to be exact) years and clearing my mind for a while.
OMG! What, how, why did you spend your first three years there?
Air Force brat. Father was stationed there at the military base. I used to drag my blankee over to the window and join in afternoon prayers. It was the happening thing to do.
Oh that makes sense. Were you in Incirlik or somewhere else?
Actually, the town I'm from used to have a US naval base during Cold War, and my mom always tell me stories about their American neighbors (thus my introduction to all great American food/snacks) and my maternal grandfather used to work for them as an ambulance driver.

If you had a million dollars that you HAD to spend what would you spend it on?
A few months ago I made a plan that included a lot of traveling around the world just for music festivals. I'd use that money for those plans, and I'd take two friends with me.

I call one of those spots in case you you receive those million dollars down the line.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which five albums would you want to have with you?
If you had to pick one non-NY city to move to in the U.S., which would you pick?
What's your favorite and least favorite thing about NY?
Biggest festival regret?
My answer for the first three questions involves Radiohead. MSG 2016 concert (Night 1) & OK Computer.
Four other albums in addition to OK Computer: Arcade Fire/Neon Bible, Radiohead/Hail to the Thief, Dave Matthews Band/Before These Crowded Streets, Sakin/Hayat (this is a Turkish indie band that disbanded a few years ago after releasing their only album "Hayat" (means "Life") and one of my all time favorites).
San Francisco definitely. I visited the city a couple of times and felt a huge European vibe there.
Biggest festival regret: Not leaving Tame Impala's set early and missing at least half of Todd Terje's set at Coachella 2015. I never got the chance to catch him later.
New York City: Least favorite: MTA. Going back home from concerts was a pain in the ass. Favorite: Millions of live music options every night of the year. I will always miss that.

Besides going to 3 concerts a night, what are some other hobbies you have?
haha fair question. Doing anything music related (other than trying to learn how to play an instrument) has probably been the only way I spent my free time over the last few years.
Dessert is my favorite kind of meal, so I like cooking sweet delicious food as well.
"Engineering Electron Transfer Processes in Oxidoreductases: Applications in Biocatalysis"
I really would like to go with British Sea Power with Sakin (seriously, listen to their only album "Hayat", it's amazing) as opening act in Istanbul, on Nov 08, 2008. It's the first show I've seen in a club.
But my concert archives page says that it's Kylie Minogue on May 20, 2018 in an arena. I had fun, no lies.

Ideally, a teaching professor. Doing research is fine, but I like teaching aspect more. In a more ideal world, I'd try to make the education system of my country better.
