Hmm, there were a bunch of them at Lunchbox Records yesterday. I'm new to the whole vinyl thing, so i didn't realize record stores would carry bootlegs.

They do but hopefully the record store owner is telling folks those aren't official releases. My record store guy sells them but will always tell the customer to give them a heads up.
I just saw that Lost Somewhere Between The Earth & My Home by the Geraldine Fibers is being released on vinyl for the first time and it will include the first new song from them in 20 years. I am freaking the fuck out.
First Saturday off without anything to do in a while, so I fought the traffic to go to a couple of record stores:
*How To Destroy Angels - An Omen EP Clipse - Wamp Wamp (What It Do) (dirt cheap, what the hell) *The Fall - Your Future Our Clutter *Brainiac - Hissing Prigs *Archers of Loaf - White Trash Heroes (white vinyl reissue) Kraftwerk - Computer World
* These were all half off, so I got all those for around $40 brand new.
Any update on the Gambino "virtual reality" vinyl? I got it for Christmas and haven't heard anything about it and it wasn't purchased with my email so I won't get any updates. I just know it gave the very specific release date of 2017
FYI I got this email update:

Ornette Coleman - Change of the Century (original stereo pressing, great price and condition!) Shriekback - Oil and Gold (promo) Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill
The store is holding a couple more cool records for me for next time I come in, too.
I can't remember if it was in an email or something, but I can't find information on when we're supposed to be getting the NIN records that were announced late last year (Not The Actual Events, Fragile reissue and Deviations). Anyone know?

You guys. I got the beginnings of my home audio setup going. Before I get into details I want to say thanks for all of the guidance and that I'm head over heels about all of this stuff.
OK so I got a Yamaha RX-V681 receiver (entirely with Marriott points no less). I also picked up a pair of ELAC B6 bookshelf speakers. I've got a regular old 1080p LCD TV, a Technics SL-Q350, and a Blu-Ray player hooked up to it right now so... not too shabby.
Testing songs so far have been Player's Ball, Halfway Home by Broken Social Scene and 45:33. The speakers are so insanely crystal clear it's amazing. It'll sound cliche but I heard interesting little things in the first two songs that I've never noticed before. There isn't much of a low end to speak of on these things so I will need a subwoofer sooner rather than later but no big deal there.
So yea, I am pumped about this. It might sound insane but I need to play around with it and figure out how to keep the TV on while playing Spotify or a record. I love keeping a basketball game on while listening to music and dicking around on the computer. In due time though.
I think I'm fine with just the vinyl. I am a sucker for limited edition shit like that but I don't care much about a puzzle and different colored vinyl. Love Tweedy though.

I haven't received any updates but they were supposed to be released 4/21, which is approaching quickly...
