ok, i, personally am an animist. i thought i was an agnostic/atheist for a long time, but then i stumbled upon a book (the story of B, by daniel quinn) that explained the basis for tribal belief, which is simply that the world is a sacred place and humans deserve to live in it. this life -- this existence -- is the holy realm, where matter and energy combine to make life possible. if there is a message from the creator (god / energy source, whatever), it's in the creation itself, not in dogma.
whenever i've done the timothy leary two-step, i've known, not felt this. the interconnectivity, the feeling that each moment is a miracle, the hugeness of the mundane, it all adds up. i think that tool's coming from a similar place, no?
i don't want to come across as trying to convert folks -- i don't give a damn. but when i found out about this form of spirituality, i knew that it was the right one for me. but there's no one right way to live, so it won't be so for everyone.

What? You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole... wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing. How 'bout we get you in your p.j.'s and we hit the hay.
I'm no longer an atheist.. After days and days and, get this, days I've been pondering my existence and the meaning of life.. I'm proud to say I'm a true, devout follower of the Almighty Corncat.. COOOOOOOOOOOOORRNNCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!
(service every Thursday night at PetSmart.. We'll see you there! )
Now there will be factions of corncatism. Those who believe in corn only on the cob, those who believe that any corn is sacred, those who fight against impure creamed corn, Does it need salt?, what about butter?...
before you know it there will be "The Corn Wars"...

oh the humanity
The Popcorn Cat sect are the "Rastafarians" of the new world order (of corn).
YOU DO?!?! Well, ONLY unshucked corn is sacred in my viewpoint.. Which obviously is more valid than yours.. The Corngod spoke to me (just like He did Josesp Smith )...... jk ;D
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this

I was told that the Corncat will accept ALL types of corn - no matter what color it may be
