Hello, Roo Clue detectives!
Well, it looks like the madness is just about to start, so here’s our official clue discussion thread for 2010! We’ll be starting an individual thread for each clue, so this thread is for general discussion of the clues. Let’s try to keep theories for individual clues in the corresponding threads as much as possible. Anybody can start a thread in our shiny new Roo Clues sub-board, so if you hear a clue that hasn’t been posted yet, feel free to start the thread for that clue (just try to make sure it definitely hasn’t been posted, as we do occasionally get repeated clues).
I’ll be updating the website as often as I can, so check there for a list of all the clues and our guesses. Sometimes I even manage to record the clues in case you miss them (or sometimes I get a little help from other people who managed to record them!). I’ll also be updating this post to link to all the clue threads, although now that we have our own sub-board it should be easier to find them anyway.
We know all this is hard to keep up with when it moves so quickly, but please try to keep the duplicate guesses to a minimum, for the sake of all our sanity! If you can’t read through all the posts, at least check the website and see if your guess has already been listed.
And last but not least, please be respectful! I think by now we’ve all learned that no matter how confident you are about the answer to a clue, it could always end up being Snoop Dogg something else.
Happy solving, everyone!

Haha, whenever I'm lucky enough to hear one I start typing it somewhere and for the first few words I'm all "THIS IS GREAT I AM TOTALLY TYPING IT WORD FOR WORD I WILL GET IT PERFECT" and then half a second later it's "wait, what?" It just goes downhill so quickly whenever I try to type.

I didn't hear my phone vibrate earlier so when I saw the missed tweet I thought sure I'd log on and find a new clue...I'm glad I didn't miss one, but I'm excited for something to happen!
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
First, in regards to the tweet - no, that is not a clue. In general, a tweet is never a clue, although we had a few exceptions at the very end of last year, but those were clearly marked/numbered. And as far as the spelling of kloo and the use of the word mood - probably no significance there either. DJ JD always uses a lot of "oo"s, I've always assumed it's just in keeping with the Roo theme. (See also: Brooers Tent!) And as far as capitalization or anything goes...his tweets in the past have included a lot of weird capitalization and stuff that seemed like it might be meaningful, and we've never figured out any significance for it. I'm inclined to say stuff like that is just messing with us.
Second - can we PLEASE keep this thread to actual discussion of the first clue and leave this sort of discussion in the general thread? You guys are defeating the point of splitting this mess into multiple threads!
DjjD himself said the twitter site can assist in solving some clues. If the strange capitalization *might* be meaningful then it warrants some discussion. We can't really know when he's messing with us. But, if he has a history of obfuscating clues with meaningless dribble, we need to keep that in mind.
A question - Does he personally number all the clues? I can't remember if he does or not.

Oh for sure, I wasn't trying to shut down discussion of that or anything, just throwing in my own two cents on the matter. Well, that and bringing up the fact that strange capitalization and stuff isn't new at all.
Sorry, what I meant to say was: 2010's gonna be big because @ac_Ent & @superflygroup be big pimpin, spendin cheese... 11 minutes ago from web
Apparently whoever tweets for Roo just realized that he or she made a Rolling Stones reference and had to correct it to mean they are getting big acts and spending big money

My money's on "screwing with us." ;D Especially since Jay Z playing IoW makes him pretty unlikely for Roo. I'm thinking the Stones reference was just for fun and when they saw we took it seriously they threw another one at us for...well, even more fun.
"Kloos are lining up like little soldiers in the airplane going over Normandy the night before D-Day. click clickclick"
I guess this belongs in this thread? It sounds like a clue for *something*? First hunch is a lineup announcement *really* soon? And, the clues are gonna be dropped en masse right before the announcement?
Edit: the "click clickclick" could mean a clue was selected, launched, but has not yet landed.

^from my understanding of the way radio Bonnaroo works this makes sense. I believe DJJD emails the song selection and audio for clues to some company in Denver who then play them. Maybe he sent the email but they are waiting to play it.
