Stellar evolution begins with the gravitational collapse of a giant molecular cloud (GMC). Typical GMCs are roughly 100 light-years (9.5×1014 km) across and contain up to 6,000,000 solar masses (1.2×1037 kg). As it collapses, a GMC breaks into smaller and smaller pieces. In each of these fragments, the collapsing gas releases gravitational potential energy as heat. As its temperature and pressure increase, a fragment condenses into a rotating sphere of superhot gas known as a protostar.[1]

The parent would be the star, so maybe it's just someone with famous parents. But that's too many people, so maybe the whole bunch, parents, grandparents, speaker are performers, but the parent is the biggest star.
A star is made out of Hydrogen, two parts Hydrogen is H2; all that's left is one part Oxygen for a water molecule.
The gathering of gas chillin out in space is a nebula; Nebulas collapse (I'm pretty sure at least) and form the protostar. The collapse might be viewed as an explosion.... in the sky?
That doesn't quite fit the "two times before I was".
My fiance just walked. I said "They've got a clue Z now..." before I finished she said "Zepplin." We both had a giggle.
We need to get the ghost of Carl Sagan in on this question. That or Neil Tyson Degrasse

ok, so that sounds like the singer/whateverer is someone with a famous parent and maybe grandparents, but is herself not very well known. I think that rules out Rosanne Cash - bummer.

Star Death and White Dwarfs may mean an appearence by the Flaming Lips as well- they said they'd be back. However I do like Z meaning MMJ as a Sunday closer. How bout all three, thanks.

Or it just means there is a new dj.
I think he meant that the new dj is trying to come up with a name for herself. Nothing with the clue.
Before they "hatched" and became a "star" they used to be something else...the same thing as what the the new DJ or DJJD was twice before. Just a thought
You guys are probably on the right track with the grandparents thing though, and i like the flaming lips answer
also doesnt "Clue Z" have something to do with it? why not just clue 8?
