Mainly the pitching ones. I think ERA is the only one I can remember. I've been watching a lot of Yankees and Indians.
Well you're only doing half of it wrong
Agreed, he can skip those Yankee games. The Tribe lost tonight though, so rather than being the first undefeated team in major league baseball history they're only going to be 161-1 I guess, but that's okay.
...and stopped at second base, haha. I hate to break it to his fans but a 29 year-old in single-A ball hitting one home run is not a big deal. He's less good than MJ, which is bad unless you're talking about basketball. Better than Garth Brooks at least, but just as much of a sideshow with no chance to make it to the bigs.
To be honest, I can't blame him for trying. If I had made a few bucks, wasn't concerned about my future income as a broadcaster, coach, motivational speaker, or whatever, I'd take some time to play with pro baseball players too if they'd let me!

I highly doubt he will ever make the majors, prob not even AAA...but he is only played two minor league games. Little quick to say he is less good than MJ.
Columbia is in Asheville (where I am at now) league...but Columbia doesn't come to Asheville this year. We visit them for two different series. Bummer.
Makes sense that Tebow would be hatred around here.
No hatred, but yeah, but we like good baseball and news about relevant players, not 29 year-old football players in A-ball.
A buddy and I went to an open tryout for an independent team (Frontier League) when we were 24 or 25. Neither one of made the team but I got an invite to the league tryout camp as an infielder/utility player (dirtbag with a glove but no stick) and they told him another team would almost definitely sign him to pitch if he threw as well there. It was fun, but neither of us went to the league tryouts because they were so inconvenient and the potential pay was so low, and neither of us had a legitimate chance of a career in baseball. So we were just like Tebow in that regard, at least in my defective mind, haha.
Cubs-Yanks just finished the longest interleague game ever. 48-combined k's also set a record. It came literally minutes away (6 hours and 5 minutes) from becoming the longest durated game in both Cubs and Wrigley history (6 hours and 10 minutes; August 18th, 1982 vs LA Dodgers). That game had been postponed in the 17th due to darkness, and continued through 21 the next afternoon. They lost both games, with the winning runs by guys that have either played or would later be apart of the Cubs franchise, Starlin Castro and Dusty Baker.
I'm happy that the Red Sox didn't do anything stupid like trading Devers to fix the problem at 3rd base. Nuñez isn't a bad pickup for the 3B slash Brock Holt super utility role, didn't have to give up much there.
Hahahaha the Dodgers. They're really going to blow it this year. Cubs getting warm at perfect time. A few injuries are setting us back but I think we have a shot to at least beat the Nats.
It's looking like Arizona D Backs vs Cleveland Indians.

also Maybin has been a stud since we picked him up. I'd prefer he starts over Fisher the rest of the year/playoffs, but even if he doesn't he's a solid PH/PR guy off the bench.
Disappointing but not surprised. At least they weren't swept this time. Houston looks good, I think they can win it all.
Farrell has to go now. Need to get another bat, someone in the middle of the lineup that pitchers fear. Mookie is good but not that guy.
Hopefully Cleveland can finish off the Yankees tonight.
This game was revenge for Texans Pats this year.
Yeah, idk why he felt the need to get himself tossed in the 2nd of an elimination game, the Bradley Jr. K was most iffy than Dustins, he would have had a better case then. Yeah, mook would be so much more deadly if he got to play more like springer and go 1 or 2. I've been pretty high on Devers all year so that HR didn't surprise me, he might be able to be that guy.
I'm scared of both of them, Cleveland is clearly a better team, but Judge could just take over games.

Losing Ortiz (who was one of the best hitters in the entire league in 2016) ended up really hurting. Combine that with essentially everybody in the lineup taking a simultaneous step back from last year and...yeah, it's not good. Not sure how much of a chance they had anyways against this Astros lineup though, especially after Sale got shelled G1.
Farrell benching Devers for Marrero (who barely made postseason roster) was perplexing.
