Looks like the catching situation down here is going to get very complicated come June. Already starting to hear rumblings of dealing McCann for an arm. I just don't know how to feel about it all.
That would be unfortunate. McCann is somewhat injury prone I mean it was just reported yesterday that he had to stop rehab for the shoulder surgery due to an injured wrist and any type of shoulder surgeries are always in some shape or form a bad harbinger for baseball. But man is he a hell of a catcher and a yearly all-star. He is also a free-agent after this year which I'm guessing is causing the rumblings to get something back for him now.
yea, I'm old. also this got me thinking about the times I've been the most excited. this was Jacoby Ford's game winning catch in OT at Miami in 09. in a game that we had to keep coming back to win and CJ Spiller had over 400 yds total offense. I don't know why it's my most exciting moment out of all of the ones I've ever had but I totally lost my shit when this happened.

Five gifs in one, one for each of Darvish's pitches. I'm still not sure if Pujols swung and missed all five times. Yu's consistency in his delivery and arm slot is absurd.

Went to the Reds/Nats on Friday night and Saturday night...been nice to see the Reds win a game, but had a lot fun. Prices in the ballpark were high, even for a professional sporting event. I guess its because the average salaries in DC, but kinda rough on a college kid. Beautiful ballpark though.

I paid $120 for two mid-price seats at Fenway last week. The rich teams need to make payroll somehow.
Yankees doing it with smoke, mirrors, slugging pct and k/bb ratios. With more people heading for the DL than coming back it seems like the wheels will come off soon.

Luckiest sons of b*tches ever.
And looks like Toronto didn't buy enough of the Marlins it seems.

Yeah, I can certainly see the luck of having Jeter, Granderson, Texiera, Nova, Cervelli and A-Rod on the DL.

We didn't even get burned on tickets, paid $40 a seat on Friday night to be between 3rd base and LF only 8 rows up...Saturday we payed $50 a seat to be between 1st base and RF only 6 rows up. Bought the tickets for Friday nights game on Ebay 3 days before, and then Saturdays on stubhub after the game Friday.
Spending $9 a beer, and anywhere $8-$13 for a meal adds up. I seen Nats tee-shirts were going for $23.

What exactly were you expecting? Miller Park is known as by far one of the best values in terms of ticket/beer/food/merchandise prices in MLB and I think beers are mostly $7-8 depending on size and everything else you mentioned sounds pretty similar.
