I kind of wish there was one late night Thursday band -- like a 2 AM slot for someone like LCD or Keys or Chromeo or something like that to take some off the conflict of Friday. But 95% of the schedule is awesome. Well done.

That's never been done and I'm thankful for it; Thursday night and Sunday night are the only two that I get anything that could be reasonably considered sleep.

I know it's never been done - but it would be nice. The conflicts on Fridays/Saturdays are always pretty epic and it would have been kind of nice to not have 4 of my top 10 bands playing at once on Friday. That's just me though.
They scheduled things almost too well. No conflict between the Flaming Lips and LCD Soundsystem means that once the Flaming Lips' set is over, LCD's tent is going to be at overflow capacity.
'Tis true. But I think the LCD\DH & Chromeo\Bassnectar conflict will ease this somewhat. But LCD's tent will easily be the most crowded.

agreed. tons of conflicts for friday LN, but since they're all so good I'm sure I'll have a blasty blast wherever I end up!

I'm just going to the end of Bassnectar and working my way up front after he ends his set.
I have no qualms about missing Black Keys and Flips considering I'll be flipping out watching Hall and Chromeo.

Eh, I don't think it'll make that much difference. Remember, people were taking about how maybe LCD should play the Which stage, with the Lips on What. They're riding a massive wave of hype right now, with the tour, their widely-recognized Coachella set, the new album, etc. I think that pretty much everyone who leaves the Lips will head right there.
I'm kind of pissed about the Keys and Lips conflict. I don't know where I'll go. Probably the Keys... Also, Avett Brothers/Dead Weather overlap? Really, Bonnaroo? Also, Mumford & Sons during the Avett Brothers? Really, Bonnaroo?
Thursday looks great for indie peeps with Fanfarlo, Here We Go Magic, Miiike Snow, Neon Indian, Blitzen Trapper and the XX.
I really hate that the National and Tenacious D overlap. I'll probably catch about half of the National, since I'm seeing them at Sasquatch 2 weeks before.
The Flaming Lips vs. The Black Keys really sucks for me as well, but I'll probably end up bailing out of Kings of Leon early to get a nice spot for the Black Keys.
I love that LCD Soundsystem is so late in the night. It's gonna be epic!
Jay-Z and Thievery overlaps quite a bit, so I'll probably see the first half of Jay-Z and the last half of Thievery. If you haven't seen Thievery, they will melt your face off.
GWAR latenight is gonna be a trip.
Sunday is Meh for me at best. Phoenix and John Fogerty will be cool and I suppose I'll check out DMB. Worst Bonnaroo day for me personally, and I've been since 2006.
Overall though, great schedule and I'm extremely pumped about Roo 2010 now!

This make me very sad. I was really looking forward to both shows. I wanted to see Bassnecter too. I can live with the rest of the schedule but shoot...

yeah, with only galactic and kid cudi/b.o.b to conflict against, lcd's tent is going to be ridiculously packed.
this gives me a tough decision - i want to see either daryl/chromeo or the black keys, but i want a great spot for lcd. i dunno....hopefully getting there for the last half hour of bassnectar's set will be good enough but i'm not sure.
Yeah, that was discussed in the Late Night thread, the word on the DSOTM set. I guess Bonnaroo is thinking that alot of the people going are unaware of the article with Wayne stating they are gonna do a DSOTM set at 2:30 am, and Bonnaroo is gonna have an announcement a week or two before saying:
My only complaint is the pre-KOL friday night. Lots of semi-overlaps means I'll be way in the back for them all, or miss some. Hard to decide. We'll see how I feel that day!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. July 16 - CAKE (Portland, ME) July 28-30 - Newport Folk (#12!) Dec 8-9 - Goosemas!
The late-night is so SO SO much better arranged than last year when the best shows were all lumped up on Friday night.
The schedule last year was such a mess. It was like the people that make the schedule got together and did a bunch of coke then said, "Let's just quack with everyone and make this preposterous schedule." "Yeah! We can put Animal Collective on the big stage in the bright afternoon sunlight!" "Hahaha, YES! The hipsters will be pissed! Let's do another line!!"

I don't know. I think they need to learn some lessons from wakarusa...
I mean, you've got deadmau5 vs disco biscuits - i'm sure alot of those fans would like to see both.
A huge bummer for me and nearly every single person i know is bassnectar vs lips vs black keys... once again seems like somewhat similar fan bases... Also Dr dog vs umphreys mcgee.... i mean..... come on brother roo
and needtobreathe... they aren't conflicting with anyone... but get this church music out of my bonnaroo damnit!
honestly, i've enjoyed every minute i've spent at bonnaroo, but this is the only festival that continues to push all the wrong buttons for me.... this will be my last year...
I'm with our dickhole friend cornquacker on this one. They could have really screwed this schedule up like they normally do, but they actually made some rational decisions.
It would have been nice if 1 of the 3 between FLips, Black Keys, and Daryl Hall & Chromeo could have been Saturday late night (perhaps switched with GWAR), but I was prepared for this logjam and pleasantly surprised that LCD was not included.
I also love the schedule, all of the conflicts that I have were conflicts that I expected and thus had already excepted that I would be missing some acts I liked, such as the Flaming Lips who I had excepted I wouldn't be seeing right after the lineup was released. So psyched that I get to see Black Keys and LCD Soundsystem. Was afraid of Avetts vs. Dead Weather, very happy that one didnt happen. Also Sunday is absolute perfection for me. Never thought I would get to see John Fogerty>Ween>MMW>Pheonix, sure there is some overlap but I was prepared to miss one or two of those acts so im pretty psyched that with the way the schedule works out I will get to see all of them.
