Yazzoo will be there. My friend asked them on Twitter.
It is Yazoo, and yes they will be there again. I know these guys pretty well
W-oops! Sorry for the type o. I love this beer. I wish they would distribute to Chicago. Love me some Dos Perros! The guys who run Yazoo are awesome. Went on a brewery tour two years ago for my best friend's bachelor party, and he wanted to bring a couple kegs back to Chicago. Needless to say we needed to return the empty kegs after a week, but the wedding wasn't for another month. The girl at the register called the owner of the company at home to see if we can extend the time we can have the kegs out. Now that is service and dedication to your customer! Yazoo is now all I drink when I am in Nashville.
The Broo'ers tent is one of my favourite stops at roo. I live in Canada and we don't get stuff from many of those breweries (maybe none, can't remember who exactly has been there in past years). Usually we stop at duty-free on the drive down and stock up on the maximum allowance of Canadian beer to last the whole trip then end up bringing a bunch back. This year I'd like to bring only as much as I can drink, pick up stuff on the drive home based on what is good at the broo'ers tent and bring that back instead.
Bringing this thread back. Anyone have any hopefuls to be at the Broo'ers tent this year? I hoping for some New Belgium, Dogfish Head, Duck-Rabbit, and Fort Collins Brewing Company.
Havnt had Ft. Collins yet though.
One of the best IPA's I have ever had is the Ft. Collins Rocky Mountain IPA.
Does anyone know if Asheville Brewing Company Beers like Ninja Porter are available anywhere in Alabama or Georgia?
Highly doubtful. I live in NC and you can really only get them in the immediate area around Asheville. Their pale ale is good good good I must say....IPA too.
Edited to add: I would love to see some of the western NC breweries like Pisgah or Wedge at Roo!
so if New Belgium is missing the party, think there's any chance at Great Divide? a hercules double ipa makes for a wonderful respite from the summer's sun.
I wrote New Belgium (they make Fat Tire in case anyone is unfamiliar) and they said they were not going to be there
Fat tire grows on trees out here. Do you not get fat tire by you to much?
You can get Fat Tire and Ranger pretty easily here, but that is about it concerning the New Belgium beers. I've got a craving for a 1554 that needs the be met in the near future
i think it's about 6-8 bucks for a beer. as someone else said earlier in the thread, you have to buy tickets to redeem for beers. you can get a taste of a beer for the equivalent of a dollar or 2 or just buy a full cup for like 7 dollars.
so the first time you go buy a bunch of tickets, however much money you want to spend for the weekend on heady beers, then just keep them with you throughout the weekend. it will help you budget your money and it will speed up the process when you're really craving a brew.
Anyone ever hear of three floyds? Its a local broo'er in Northest Indiana. They have some pretty good stuff maybe ill bring some of that to trade about at camp.
