I think he's disagreeing with you Curt. I for one think no man, woman, or child should ever be compared to Nickelback. I see what you're saying though.

Zapp, you're the man, missed you last night by like five minutes. I think he was messing with me too. I didn't see anything wrong with his comparison. Fits the suck=suck equation.

wayne is in no way shape or form equal to nickelback.
wayne is at least talented, his mix tapes are amazing. his studio work isnt the best, but its listenable. nickelback makes me want to shove a screw driver through both of my ear drums.

i agree, i dont see him at roo, but when i see anybody compared to nickelback i find the need to come to their defense. thats just a downright horrible thing to say about somebody.
Creed sucks because they mimicked previously successful bands (the Doors, U2, Pearl Jam, etc.) and rode their minimal creativity to great success until people caught on and the band crash and burned. Now, they are the go-to joke when referring to terrible bands. Creed suck like the Oakland Raiders.
Lady Gaga sucks because she has become enormously successful in popular music by fusing artistic styles from across several genres (Andy Warhol, Madonna, ... someone in fashion,...etc.) and she has created something that is beyond her peers and so the inherent backlash has begun among those who don't understand her. Lady Gaga sucks like the New York Yankees.
Make a note. I don't want to see the misuse of suck on these boards again.

Lil' Wayne is a very talented rapper. However, his persona and most of his main songs are way too trashy rap for me to take seriously. It's fun for frat parties, but after that it just gets stale and pretty laughable.
He has a lot of talent, but there's no way in hell I'd like to see him in a Top 4 slot (or Top 20) slot at Bonnaroo. He defines trashy rap, however talented he is.
I like Eminem, but I think he's too angry for Bonnaroo. And his use of gay slurs and such have always really offended me to the point where I can't even respect him as a person.
I hear if you say "Nickelback" three times in front of a mirror, Chad Kruger appears in thin air and sings the entire catalog a capella. There are no true reports of this, because every case obviously ends in suicide.

Ok so I know that they probably would have said the same thing about last years line-up, but I cant help but get excited when i see
William Morris Agency’s Jay Williams, Ashley Capps, founder of AC Entertainment and the predominant force behind the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, said he’s very excited about the way the 2011 Bonnaroo festival is starting to shape up.

hahahahaha that's funny. I bet that would get the neighborhood dogs barking and howling.
Let's get down to what's really important here What does no homo/no depression even mean. Are you declaring him not gay?

“Capps stated that some of the Bonnaroo 2011 lineup is already set and shrugged off a question about running out of headliners by stating ‘we have several places we’re looking at going in 2011 and, honestly, there’s more there already than we can fit in.’

Time to get excited guys.
No.
Seriously, no.
Don't "get excited" yet.
Remember last year?
Everyone got all excited because of a few quotes here and there.
Everyone got so pumped for the lineup.
the lineup was revealed and there was chaos. Even though it wasn't a bad lineup......people were screaming for Ashley Capp's head on a stick and stuff like that.
don't get excited until we have confirmed (from Bonnaroo.....not some random site) acts.
Ashley Capps was seen talking to Win Butler when Arcade Fire played in Nashville. I'm not saying that means anything, but at least they don't hate each other.

You're right. Absolutely right. But I can't help it. You'd think they would have learned from last year before pulling that again. (except for the fact that they considered last year a huge success)
