I enjoyed myself this year obviously, but all things considered, it was a bad lineup.
For Bonnaroo.
You know even when I feel that way I had a blast and saw great music every moment I could stand to be in centeroo. Also LCD was everything I expected it to be and more.

Exactly, I had a lot of fun, I just know they could have done better on the lineup. There were a bunch of times during the day when there was nothing I wanted to see.
Just an example here's a comparison of bands I saw full sets of on Sunday at Coachella and Bonnaroo
Coachella: Owen Pallett, Deerhunter, Yo La Tengo, Jonsi, Most of Spoon, Pavement, Thom Yorke, Gorillaz
Bonnaroo: Phoenix
Phoenix was one of my favorite shows of the year and a complete blast, but there just wasn't as much I wanted to see at Roo this year as there was in 09 or 08.

I still found stuff all day Sunday I saw Martin Sexton, The Dropkicks, Ween, Phoenix and DMB. I never got to where there was nothing I wanted to see, though admittedly this year there were places where it was only 1 band I wanted to see instead of 4.
So all last year they kept pumping up next year. Saying they have "big surprises" and stuff like that. And i keep reading that Bonnaroo apparently saved some money back this year to have a bigger one next year. WHAT IF they totally changed the schedule arrangement. WHAT IF they did something like have headliners in the middle of the day as well as the typical night time headliners? Or something along those lines.

Same. I know I'll have fun at Bonnaroo no matter how I feel about the artists performing that year, but ultimately it's the lineup that makes me decide whether to travel over 1,000 miles each way and spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on one weekend of fun.
The Rolling Stones will not be second on anyone's lineup.
Fine, I don't care. I'd still Leno myself if a lineup with these artists was announced.
True story, and so would I. It may be kind of unrealistic, but so is everybody else's mock lineup. It just seems to me that if something like that were released, it would go: Stones (Sat) - Radiohead (Fri) - Daft Punk (Sat LN) - White Stripes (Fri LN) - Pixies - MMJ - Primus. Just my $.02 though, don't take offense to this because I really like the way you think
don't get excited until we have confirmed (from Bonnaroo.....not some random site) acts.
After getting my hopes up in 2008 over the Zeppelin rumors (I really should have known better, but I so desperately wanted to believe), and then again this year over the Neil Young rumors, I've learned to take everything that doesn't come directly from AC/Superfly with an enormous truckload of salt.
Okie, let me just put my "realistic dream" lineup out there.
Thursday night, Midnight, What Stage - Daft Punk opens the festival
Friday Drive By Truckers ---> Band of Horses ---> Pearl Jam ---> My Morning Jacket 1am till Dawn on What Stage
Saturday The Avett Brothers ---> The Shins ---> Radiohead ---> Tool LN
Sunday Govt Mule ---> Greg Alman ---> Neil Young
If we have to have a big rapper, Eminem or Drake would be my choice.
Those are the main acts for each day, and I dont really think thats a stretch, other than Daft Punk thursday night.
Other acts to include: The Gaslight Anthem, The National, Flogging Molly, Explosions in the Sky, Fear Factory, Mastadon, Black Label Society, The chemical Brothers, Infected Mushroom, etc
Other Headliners I would be very interested in seeing: Simon and Garfunkel, Billy Joel and Elton John, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Widespread Panic, SCI, Dream Theater
I wouldnt mind seeing the Rolling Stones, they were my first real concert (Voodoo Lounge, Liberty Bowl Statium), or U2 (though I havent cared for their music of late)
Please no Phish, or Lady Gaga, and I could go without Jack White (sorry, he is just the most overrated person in music. I like alot of his music, but he is not God)

Here is what I would like to see next year as some headliners
The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Outkast, Toots and Maytals, Dr Dre (playing The Chronic Album)
I think thats a well balanced Headliners, I also understand there are no jam bands on my list. If I would add some it would either be Phish or Widespread
Others I would like to see play Bonnaroo next year.
Ceelo Green ( is coming out with a new album this year) Neil Young Herbie Hancock Chromeo Ben Harper Hall & Oats Daftpunk
There's many more I would like to see, those were just the ones I came up with on the fly.
PLEASE PLEASE Bonnaroo! don't put Lil Wayne or Lady Gaga on the bill, I really don't think Bonnaroo would go that commercial. Even though Bonnaroo went with Kings of Leon and Jay Z, I don't really listen to their music but I respect them as musicians and know they are truely musicians.. and not just corporate bull shit

OH man I forgot one big one! Since Bonnaroo had the Flaming Lips do Dark Side. MAYBE! The will get Roger Waters to play The Wall. Even Better than that Maybe David Gilmore and Roger Waters might play! OR!! even better than that, all living members of Pink Floyd ( David, Roger, Nick) will get back together for a Bonnaroo Show!
the last part is just a dream really..... but I can totally see Roger Waters performing The Wall

Okay, in all seriousness, who would be up for seeing a live production of The Rocky Horror Show at Roo? Trippy? I think so. But other than that, I can't wait to see who is gonna be there next June. 269 days til the fun begins (that is, assuming it starts on the 9th)
