i thought it would b good idea to have a thread dedicated to useful advice first time bonnaroo-goers can use...so if you've been there and wanna tell something to first timers or if you are a first timer and there is something you wanna ask this is your thread...
...one thing i wanna pass along is that this is my third time and the past bonns i saw a lot of people faint for multiple reasons...bonn is a long, long weekend so plese PACE YOURSELF, and know you limits and most of all HAVE A BLAST....c ya all in manchester
I can't express the excitement I feel. The drive down there with 3 of my best friends. This will be an amazing experience. By the end, the only thing I'll want is one more day of it before I head home. Remember to enjoy yourself, it is only 3 days, and think how fast they'll go.
The water thing has been covered. So has the pace yourself. Make sure you eat somthing. I like packing some granola and some sandwitches in my bag and snacking slowly over the day. We had one decent meal at camp every day. This will help keep you going. Remember the moderation in the mind altering, too much at once and you'll miss a lot of stuff.

Also, remember to surround yourself with good energy. I saw a few people last year messing with other people who were tripping and they did not look like they were having a good time. If you're going to do drugs or whatever, make sure you're in a good environment and with people you trust.
AND! A special message for whoever let their friend wander off last year. I know Bonnaroo isn't about babysitting your friends, but if you can tell your friend has had way to much partying, don't let him wander off by himself. THis happened while I was working the gate last year. Some kid had taken a bunch of valium and drank WAY too much and he passed out in the middle of one of the entrance lanes. We had to pick him up and I had to sit with this incoherant guy for almost 2 hours until he started making a little bit of sense. Thankfully there were some awesome people who let him crash in their tent for a little while. I thought it was kinda rude that these friends he came with just let him take off when he was obviously so messed up. Keep an eye out for one another! Especially your own crew! Love and rockets, Hil
And one day we will die And our ashes will fly From the aeroplane over the sea But for now we are young Let us lay in the sun And count every beautiful thing we can see Love to be In the arms of all I'm keeping here with me.. ~Neutral Milk Hotel
