And I don't see Roo booking 2 of last years Lolla headliners
Which also means no The Strokes..
I was less sure about Arcade Fire, nice to get confirmation.
My guess for headliner would be:
Neil Young in some form (Saturday - Stevie Spot) - WSP (Sunday HL) - Arcade Fire (Friday - KOL Spot) - MMJ (Saturday - Jay-Z Spot) - The Strokes (Sunday - Phoenix Spot) -
And then I am missing someone for Tenacious D's spot.
Anybody think that TI is big enough to fill one of the six spots?
I believe TI will still be in jail.
I know there were rumblings of a possible Up in Smoke tour 2 happening so maybe we do get Dre and Eminem afterall with another rumor that Detox will be finally dropping on April 1st
Dream HL would be Jay-Z/Kanye (watch the throne set) or Outkast though i'd probably already rule out both

Mumford & Sons? They seem to be enormous this year.

don't think TI is a big enough name for a headliner...he's fallen off big-time...
now dre and friends would be sick! he hasnt had an album since "2001", and all of his albums are instant classics. this would be a great get.
also, i love the idea of getting jay-z and kanye. kanye's new album is amazing, and i truly think he would bring it to redeem himself with the bonnaroo crowd. plus, jay-z will tell him how awesome it was last year if you treat the fans to a great show. that jay-z set last year was amazing as well. i wish i could relive that show every day.
Definatly, I believe that. Move from That Tent to late on the Which or early on the What sort of big. I think they are on par whith where the Avetts were like 2 years ago. I bet it's later on the Which.

Insider - thanks for the tips. Here's my guess. Can you provide any insight?
Fri – Arcade Fire, Drake Sat – Red Hot Chili Peppers, My Morning Jacket Sun – Widespread Panic, Robert Plant
Edit - I'm having a hard time guessing the Saturday night headliner. RHCP seems a bit weak, but someone like Neil Young seems too good to be true. Same with all those other super star acts like the Stones, the Who etc.

Although I think it's more likely that they are having a What Stage LN on both Friday and Saturday, then for her to be referring to the Tenacious D spot.
We would still need a big rap act, as she said. Lil' Wayne and/or Eminem don't sound right to me (although I think Lil' Wayne more likely than Eminem), and I definitely don't think it is Dr. Dre or Black Eyed Peas (not even rap, really). Who else could fill that slot this year? Kanye could, but I don't really see it happening.

True, then instead of missing someone for the D's spot, we need a LN for Friday after Arcade Fire. If it's Hip Hop, maybe it is Outkast? Drake? Dre (for the pool's sake, I hope it is him)
I don't think Black Eyed Peas, maybe Wayne or Eminem, I think Lil Wayne makes more sense for some reason. Kanye would be amazing, although I doubt it is happening.
Is Kanye as hated by the general 'Roo population/AC/Superfly as he is by people on the board? We all know that the board doesn't really reflect the general population, maybe the Kanye hate isnt as bad as we all think?
Sorry if this ends up being a double post, but I had a strange thought...
Any chance they have booked Robert Plant and the Band of Joy as a headliner?
Since she said there are two each night... and we have only been considering one each night... yes, I say that's a possibility. More of a pre-headliner.
