it's better to be negative now and then positive after it's confirmed...........instead of being positive now, then it doesn't come true, then everyone is super negative cuz they think they are owed something
I'm not in total certainty that they will be there, but if AC/Superfly had any brains they would make sure they got em. It's going to be a huge let down if they are not there anyways, so you might as well get excited about the possibility.

After last year's enormous let down of a initial line up announcement, I def hear ya. But, there has been a decent amount of speculation on this subject. Glad to hear anybody saying "This Is Happening" at this point.
I don't think anyone is dopey enough to take this as a no-strings-attached confirmation that DP will be there, but I think it's OK to be a little encouraged by it. As long as we're stable enough mentally to not have a meltdown if the lineup comes out and DP isn't on it.
I second this. Too many Moaning Myrtles on this board.
I wish I could have an auto-exalt feature on here so anytime I get a free Awesome point, it goes directly to you for making a Harry Potter reference in the Daft Punk thread.
For the sake of conversation, I would assume Daft Punk playing late night would be something like the Stevie into Jay Z spot last year. So if Daft Punk is Jay Z, who's Stevie?

To be fair I have heard this from several people as well .... far removed from the world of Inforoo.
I believe you are refering to Lez Zeppelin... And they were pretty awesome. haha
Some media outlets confirmed that Led Zeppelin were on the lineup because they had been heavily rumored and whoever wrote the first article read "Lez Zeppelin" way too fast and wanted to get the news out first.
Radiohead's live set up is too big to be followed by Daft Punk. Although one can hope Thom Yorke & company would sacrifice their "lcd cathedral" for the sake of Bonnaroo.
I doubt that if Radiohead does a tour next year that it will be "stripped down." Especially if it's such a big tour that one of the dates is Bonnaroo. Just sayin'.

2006 tour was the smallest I think. I think they're keeping the same set up or close because they bought two sets of lights, one for Europe and one for the Americas. Something about loving the environment or some nonsense like that.
