Order is not important

Kanye West '08 The Police '07 The Flaming Lips '10 Guster '04 The Avett Brothers '10 Bob Dylan '03 Tiesto '09 Phish fri/sun '09 Gabby La La '05 Animal Collective '09 James Brown '03
As for AC 2009, don't blame them, blame the sound man. The levels were just way off and everything sounded shitty for the first half of their set. I saw them a month earlier at the Electric Factory and they were amazing.
I also didn't enjoy Flips '10, but it was my own fault for getting there way too late and not being able to see anything.
Best Portugal the Man 09 Pearl Jam 08 David Byrne 09 Phoenix (preferred 09 to 10 but loved both) Les Claypool 10 The Swell Season 08 Band of Horses 09 Yeasayer 09 Local Natives 10 Punch Brothers 10
Worst Gaslight Anthem 10 Charlie Allen 09 - dear God, this was awful. This was my second Roo and I had recruited a bunch of friends. This was the first thing we saw and I'm pretty sure they were all second guessing Bonnaroo after this set. Thank goodness we were stayed in the front for Alberta Cross who rocked it and then PTM melted our faces and made diehard fans out of us all

Best Set> Pearl Jam>Metallica>MMJ>Bruce>Public Enemy>Beastie Boys>Weezer>Hall & Chromeo.......Worst Set>Phoenix (wasn't impressed)>King Of Leon (same show every time)..................Can I ask why nobody liked The Police in 07? It was a year before I started going, the bootleg sounds pretty good
I don't get the worst set thing. If I'm not digging the band 3 songs in, I just find another show. That's a great part of Roo. I'm not hanging around to report just how awful the set was.
Worst: Blues Traveler '10 (could be due to outrageous heat) Decemberists '09 (although second half of Mars Volta rocked after I left) Beastie Boys '09 (although I liked their screen) Kayne West '09 (didn't even try to go, though)

Best Nine Inch Nails '09 Metallica '08 Pearl Jam '08 Kings Of Leon '10 (That's right, I put Kings of Leon) Toubab Krewe '09 Flaming Lips performing Dark Side '10 Zappa Plays Zappa '08 MSTRKRFT '08 Les Claypool '10 Jeff Beck '10 Coheed & Cambria '09 Pretty Lights '09 Back Door Slam '08 Portugal. The Man '09 The Raconteurs '08
The Worst Crystal Castles '09 (I really don't understand how anyone can like this girl's voice. The production and the intro were great though) Jets Overhead '09 (Boring Show) Bruce Springsteen '09 (I gave it a chance, but left after the Christmas songs started) Chairlift '09 Damian Marley & Nas '10 (I bet I would have liked this if it was at night on a smaller stage. It was so damn hot.) Kanye West '08 ( I actually wasn't at this show, but his antics caused Phil Lesh to end his show early and made Israel Vibration move their set...which I missed!!! For that fact, it made my list - F U Kanye)
Best: Ben Folds '06 and '08 The White Stripes '07 The Decemberists '07 and '09 Circa Survive '10 The Wood Brothers '06 and '08 The Roots '07 Metallica '08 The Raconteurs '08 Public Enemy '09 Lupe Fiasco '08 Beastie Boys '09 Tenacious D '10 Jay-Z '10 Stevie Wonder '10 Hall and Chromeo '10

Flaming Lips '10 Tool '07 Nine Inch Nails '09 Flaming Lips '07 Mars Volta '09 Metallica '08
Worst: Yeah Yeah Yeahs '09 Kings of Leon '07 Animal Collective '09
That's really all I can think of, aside from stuff that Ive just passed by and heard awfulness coming from a stage (Michael Franti & Spearhead, Miranda Lambert, Rebelution).
Ween '10 The Wood Brothers (Sonic Stage) '08 Dark Star Orchestra (Sonic Stage) '08 The Flaming Lips w/ Stardeath & White Dwarfs '10 Mayer Hawthorne and the County '10 Stevie Wonder '10 Les Claypool & Gogol Bordello Superjam '08 My Morning Jacket '08 Trombone Short & Orleans Avenue '10
Worst:
She & Him '10 (Sound sucked, Zooey sucked, crowd sucked. They later redeemed themselves at the Ryman.) PhiL Lesh & Friends '08 (Not really Phil's fault. I was just pissed at that point.) Umphrey's McGee '08 (Walked in to the middle of the most aimless jam I've ever heard from these guys. I left after about 10 minutes of lost noodling.) Weezer '10 (Went to go collect my girlfriend, who wasn't interested in seeing Jeff Beck. Luckily, when I found her, she had heard enough and gladly came with me to catch the rest of Beck's set.) The Lunar Stage '10 (Would not shut the fuck up all weekend. Kind of ruined The Other Tent if you didn't pack in closely enough.)
Sorry I feel the need to explain the sets I didn't enjoy. I just really like most of those artists (except Weezer) and feel like under better circumstances that some of those sets could have been more fun.
That show was absolutely mind-blowing. If you didn't enjoy yourself, you only have yourself to blame.
I have to disagree 2010 was not that good of a show. 2007 was WAY better then 2010. I don't know if that is because the novelty of all their stage antics wore off seeing them a second time or because they just sounded really uninspired and un-enthusiastic. In any case I'm really glad I left for the black keys.

Like I said before, the first hour was really a weak effort in comparison to a casual Lips show.
But I stand by the fact that Dark Side was awesome.
I don't know why everyone is putting weezer '10 as worst? Although I did only catch the last 5 or 6 songs of their set, they were playing all classics and had a huge crowd and had everyone singing. They were one of my all time favorite sets at roo last year. Do you guys just not like weezer?
