Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
since GC is steering towards Mr Claypool and others are saying Buckethead how about Les Claypool's Bucket of Burning Brains... they have played roo before... haven't they????
Yep, back in 02'. Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains. Made up of Les, Buckethead, and Bernie Worrell.
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

BERNIE Brains...hehe Okay, lets get creative and out of the box here....
Crab can mean 'grouch' as well....'Grouches' live in trash cans....
Garbage? Butch Vig is DEFINITELY a music veteran, all around.....and the band is apparently having new material this year with a rumored tour. I'd dig it!

Has anyone thought that the throne could be refering to a drummer, as in drummers sit on a drum throne. Could we be looking for the king of the drums? Not sure who that would be.
"A veteran and magistrate, or a character of sorts. A throne one cannot abdicate, of which a crab can make a fort."
Okay, so this is how I've approached this one:
"Of which a crab can make a fort" makes me think of a shell. (Which I think it does to most people.)
"A throne one cannot abdicate" paired with shell made me think of the Wicked series of books. Shell Thropp (Elphie's brother) becomes the Eminent Thropp and the ruler of all Oz. This makes me think that we may be looking for someone who is Australian.
(Then I briefly said, 'Oh crap, it's another AC/DC clue!")
Then I though of a musician that also acts, one who has played a veteran, a magistrate and an assortment of characters... Russell Crowe.
He's been playing music since the '80's and he's currently working with Great Big Sea's Alan Doyle on an album and will be touring for the first time since 2006.

Hands down Danny Carey, or Neil Peart! Best drummers ever, I have been trying to strech the clues to fit tool since clue number one.. I dont see it happening..

We had briefly discussed it but from gary's hint's I don't think we were on the right track or he would have told us.

I feel like I should reiterate that Rush is still very unlikely due to their tour schedule.

A) SC -> LA -> TN -> TX isn't the best tour planning B) They are consistently playing dates every other day on this leg of the tour
While Rush can't be ruled out, it certainly does not look promising.

I'm just ranting and heavily hoping here... But here's my mess of a conclusion.
A veteran and magistrate, or a character of sorts. A throne one cannot abdicate, of which a crab can make a fort.
When ya hear veteran or magistrate, ya think politics/patriotism(or anti...). When I hear crab, I think about how they move from shell to shell. With that being said, Rage Against the Machine has Pocket Full of Shells and they're politically driven.. "Of sorts," possibly referring to Zack De La Rocha being in both RATM and One Day as a Lion? I'm pretty sure this is all just wishful thinking...

Good call, Bearpawb!
How does "of which a crab can make a fort," fit into that, though? Regardless, I think you're on the right track. Maybe Zack De La Rocha's One Day as a Lion?? They are playing Coachella and Soundwave... So it wouldn't be too big of a surprise to see them there.

i was just stretching for the One Day as a Lion idea too, good to see other people trying John Theodore is a pretty solid rock drummer, which could be stretched into second part, crab's live under rocks. (how's that for a weak stretch) And Zack takes care of the first part. Trying to apply rock or sand to the idea.

APPLIED! Check it.
Here's what I've got.
1.) Zack De La Rocha can be considered both a veteran and magistrate in the sense that RATM has been around for a while and that he fights against "the machine" for justice. 2.) A throne one cannot abdicate referring to a lion, king of the jungle. 3.) Crabs live under rocks - "De La Rocha" means "of the rock" in English -- perhaps the fort refers to De La Rocha's "new home" within One Day as a Lion.

ALSO... Someone said something about the throne referring to a drummer? Could definitely apply there, too, seeing as One Day as a Lion is made up of Zack De La Rocha and Jon Theodore, former drummer for The Mars Volta.
