LOVE me some Tosh!!! According to his website, danieltosh.com/calendar he is taping his show in Culver City, CA on 6-9-11 then does not have another taping planned until a week later, on 6-16-11. So maybe???

Tosh=Newer Dane Cook. Give it 2 more years and everyone will be sick of him.
^^this.
To each his own, but from what I've seen of his show, I find him painfully unfunny. He just stands there, makes some lame jokes complete with horrible delivery, and then distracts his audience with a mildly amusing YouTube clip that somebody else made. It's like watching America's Funniest Home Videos as hosted by an extremely awkward teenager. If enough people wanted him there, I guess I'd be okay with it as long as he was in the comedy tent and not on What Stage, but it just seems like kind of a waste to me.
I liked him better when he just did stand up. His show is entertaining, but he's used some jokes from his stand-up word for word in his TV show. I think there are much better comedians that could be at roo....especially if we're talking about a comedian for a What stage spot. As a comedy tent comedian and nothing else...tosh would probably fit in really well. And I agree with Itrain...Louis CK would be way better.

there's a big difference in doing stand up comedy and reading one-liners written by a team of writers about goofy internet videos.
what he does on Tosh.0 is not a good way to decide if he's a good stand up comedian.

I don't mind that. When I saw Patton Oswalt at Roo he did a lot of jokes from one of his CD's and Aziz Anzari was re-using jokes when I saw him at Roo. Lot's of comedians recycle material.
I do agree though, that there are much better comedians for a What stage spot. Tosh would be good in the comedy tent though.
I can only think of 3 comedians (who are realistic for Roo) that I'd like to see on the main stage doing comedy:
1.) Louis CK 2.) Zach Galifianakis 3.) Patton Oswalt
All are Roo veterans and while Patton is arguable....I think both Zach and Louis could perform amazing hour long sets on the What stage.
Yeah I know most comedians recycle material and stuff in their acts...but Tosh takes jokes from his stand-up, completely independent of his show, then uses the same jokes about videos on his show. So I just feel it's a little different. I still like Tosh though, even if it's pretty un-original and whatever..his show makes me laugh so I watch it.

I despise Tosh. Whoever said he was Dane Cook 2.0 is right on the money.. Although if he was there I could just skip the comedy tent which wouldnt be that big of a loss.
