Paul Simon is much more beloved than Buffalo Springfield, which I considered more of a novelty act (heresy!). Neil Young and Crazy Horse would be higher billed this year. My guess is they would be slotted fourth.
I would be surprised if we didn't get either Young or Simon. But not both.
I'm sorry, how you phrased that was strange, you wouldn't put Neil young with Crazy Horse 4th? their a top 3 headliner... no questions. Simon would be billed the same as Buffallo springfield. I saw both BS and Paul in 2011, and the BS show was muuuuch muuuch better ( and I love both artists work equally). Simon& Garfunkel would be a different story though, that'd be incredible for them to headline.

i agree simon is bigger/more beloved then BS. my only point is that bonnaroo isnt going to place simon higher on the lineup because he appeals to the 'older demographic'. we know our 3 headliners, and i highly doubt simon would be billed over any of the 3.

just the thought of simon and garfunkel on the farm makes me smile. i doubt it will ever happen though. did they ever say whether or not garfunkel's vocal chords were doing better?

Yea he's part of a rolling stones tribute coming up (strange I know) and i've heard light rumor of another S&G tour.

Sorry, typing on an iPad is an impediment. I think NY&CH would be billed higher than BS. I saw Paul Simon close out Hangout last year and was very moved by a highly anticipated show. It was the first time to hear so many of my favorites songs performed, so that may have clouded my judgement, along with it being on the backend of a weekend on heavy dabauchery on the beach.
You know if a Founders Centennial IPA is your light slow down beer and you're posting headliner schedule predictions on inforoo when work calls at 6 a.m. it's time to go to bed. Goodnight all and cheers to insider who will hopefully pay us a visit soon.

If we do I hope Beck is involved. Hey Bon Iver fans, where is a good place to start? Not familiar with much of their stuff.
I would start with For Emma, Forever Ago and then move on to the new album(self-titled). If you don't love For Emma you should still try the new album. They are fairly different. The Blood Bank EP is also worth a listen. You can pretty much listen to the whole Bon Iver catalog in about 90 minutes.
Holy quacking poop. Reading this thread is like reading....I don't even know. I can't describe it. I'm not one to call people out on their opinions, but so many opinions in this thread are just plan wrong.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

For me, Bon Iver took some patients. I wasn't thrilled with him at first but grew to love his albums.
