Geez, way to make the rest of feel like jerks. "After I donate my kidney to a friend in need, I'll still make the effort to go Bonnaroo and see all my friends even though I'm not crazy about the lineup this year."
Don't give me Fireball at Roo this year. I may ask; tell me no.

Yes!!!! Finally got to see Mountain vs. Viper. That was an incredible episode. The fight scene. Tyron's monologue to Jamie. The Arya/Hound stuff. And of course Ser Jorah's scene. Loved it all so much. Can't wait to finish catching up.
Did anyone see the finale? Good lord yes. Easily the best season yet.
Hell yeah, top priority last night when I got home was seeing my wife, a homecooked meal, and GoT!
Was an incredible finale. The show continues to be the best book-to-screen translation I've seen. I was doubtful and curious that they'd be able to wrap up all the story lines in just an hour, but man they nailed it.
-Obviously the biggest scene was Tyrion murdering Shae and Tywin. Could not have been handled better. And Tywin Lannister is one of my favorite characters in the series, but man it feels so good to see that piece of shit trying to talk his way out of getting killed. I loved the repetition of Tywin saying "my son" over and over, trying to manipulate Tyrion to his will, trying to save his life with words, as he has always done.
-Cersei confronting Tywin with the truth about her and Jaime (and their kids) was like DAMN!
-The Hound telling Brienne, in regards to Arya, "Yes I'm watching over her", god that shit killed me. Because really, at this point, what other reason could the Hound be walking around with Arya for other then he is lonely, and he likes her? There's no money to be had anymore, he clearly just enjoys her company, which for someone who has been unable to have a sane relationship with anyone since his own fucking brother scarred him for life is amazing.
-Also amazing acting chops from Arya when she is just watching the Hound bleed out, that cold calculation and interest in her eyes. Such a great actor. Valur Morghulis.
I do have one negative thing to say, spoiler free. I always found the Bran story line so boring in the books, and the TV show is no exception. Whenever his scenes came on this season it took me right back to when I'd turn the page reading Storm of Swords, see "BRAN" in the title and just sigh.
The only saving grace is that they spend way less time on Bran in the TV show then GRRM does in the books.
