Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Four guys from Toronto who rock like no other. They've got a new album coming out in the spring and while they're big locally, I feel like they are on the verge of blowing up. Check out this tune and tell me you wouldn't enjoy this on a Thursday night...
They are the first band I've seen that is a good blend of Punk AND BLUEGRASS!!! Saw them open for NOFX this week, and it was knee slappin foot stompin FUN!
idk if any of you guys have heard of Rubblebucket, but they're pretty damn awesome. They're playing at Electric Forest. Crazy mix of lots of brass and a jam type sound, with some synth thrown in there every once in a while, as well as just an altogether INCREDIBLE, funky sound. They're pretty much made for Bonnaroo.
Although I'd love for them to be back and fully expect them what with the new album, they've played Roo 2 or 3 times before so they wouldn't be on Thursday
It will be inetresting to see where they put Alabama Shakes. We will be seeing them March 31st In Bham. They are already sold out. I had planed to wait till payday to get my tickets but got scared of a sellout so I went to the box office and got 4 of the last 36 tickets. CANT WAIT!!!!
My first Bonnaroo experience was The Cat Empire on Thursday night in '06. That show had so much energy! Absolute blast! I wished they would play another Thursday set, after the sun has set of course.

Yes!! I just got into White Denim recently and their newest album "D" is unbelievable. I love the blues, psychedelic, and spacy feel they seamlessly incorporate into their music. I really hope they're on the lineup.
The Antlers, Youth Lagoon, GIRLS, Kurt Vile, Cults
Unfortunately, Girls will be touring Europe.
It will be hard to top 2011's Thursday. Wavves -> Best Coast -> The Drums -> Sleigh Bells -> Deerhunter was such a great day of music for me. Thursday has actually become my second favorite day of Bonnaroo.
One thing is certain. Thursday is not what it used to be. There used to be a few bands as a treat for the few people that showed up the night before the festival started.
Now that Roo is officially 4 days, at least 1/3 of Rooers seem to show up Thursday. The few shows that are on are absolutely packed. They need more shows going on.

Yea this past year was super crowded on Thursday. In 2009 I was able to walk up to the first act playing and there were like 20 people there. Every other show was pretty easy/not crowded but in 2011 the tents were FULL pretty early. Still had an awesome time (always love new bands) but definitely saw more people than I was used to.
Hope they open up the Which stage this year to thin it out a bit.
agreed
here's my idea for thursday: around march or april, announce a band as the first ever thursday headliner on the which. this is a band that is from the top of the lineup and fits the nighttime esthetic. looking at last year's lineup, i would go with sci or pretty lights - a band of that level. then, when the schedule comes out or soon after, 'promote' 2 already-scheduled thursday bands to play before them on the which based on their popularity and how much they've blown up since they were booked. one of the bands from last year i would select for this is definitely sleigh bells, but i'm not sure of who else. this would spread the crowd out and give small buzz bands a big stage to show off on.
