Danny Brown is out of tonight's show with Pretty Lights in Nashville. They had some fun today on twitter. I don't think they seem like friends anymore.

I live in concert purgatory. Pittsburgh/Cleveland gets skipped over alot, only sometimes to have an artist get booked at the last moment, making festival conflict decisions all the more difficult for me.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra are playing in Toronto tonight @ Lee's. If youre in the area I wouldnt miss this! Wolf People are opening for them....should be a good one.

Just announced! Tickets to The Complete Last Waltz on Novemeber 27th on sale now
For decades, musicians and fans alike have grown up on the music of The Band. Martin Scorsese documented one of their greatest concerts of all-time and that film, The Last Waltz, has cast a shadow that can never be equaled. Equal it, we will not. However, we have assembled an incredible collection of friends and family that will celebrate that historic evening.
Join Joe Russo, Ryan Bingham, Nels Cline, Marco Benevento, Cass McCombs, Binky Griptite, The Antibalas Horns, Nicole Atkins, Matt Vasquez, Sam Cohen, Jeff Chimenti, Richard Swift, Eric D. Johnson, Andy Cabic, Alecia Chakour, and many more special guests on November 27th at The Capitol Theatre and celebrate The Complete Last Waltz.

Probably wrong thread, but closest thing I could find before I passed out. To anyone in the path of the current tour of Thee Oh Sees and The Blind Shake. I don't care what kind I music you prefer, or how you fetl about roudy, noisy, sweaty Agressive rock shows. SEE THIS SHOW! John Dwyer is a quacking god, there is little chance I will ever be a part of anything that will come close to the magnitude of what this show was. I feel like a thirst has been quenched. The peak has been reached.
In this moment, as I lie in bed, with my ears still echoing the brilliance they managed to endure for 2.5 hours, I am a truelybhappy man. This was the 1st successful attempt at seeing Thee Oh Sees, and At the age if 29, I feel like I have seen the best show I will ever see.

The #1best show I ever saw was Thee Oh Sees on Nov. 11, 2011.
Cat Power is coming to my town and I don't know what to expect. Did anyone see her show at Roo?
I didn't see her but I heard she was atrocious: more nonsensical rambling than playing songs, trying to sell things to the audience directly from the stage, and other shenanigans.

I sat in the grass for a handful of songs and enjoyed it.

. At one point Brigid Dawson looked directly at me and smiled. Pretty sure we're dating now.

I haven't been to one of their shows yet, but friends of mine say its a CANT MISS show. Cold be an epic night...Friday @ The Shoe = Chaos! I will report back on Monday.

Have a great time my friend. My first Man Man show is easily one of my favorite live music experiences.
Leaving for Disappears/Weekend here in a bit. I just found out Gories and Tweens are f*cking playing? I've had tickets for weeks. Somehow I missed this.
