Red Bull will be adding some festivals in Atlanta and Chicago:
Red Bull continues to expand its empire within the bloated North American music festival arena. The energy drink/lifestyle brand announced on Wednesday that it will now host a pair of non-traditional festivals in Atlanta and Chicago in November following the success of a New York City event which took place earlier this summer. First, Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta will take place throughout the Georgia capital from November 1st–15th. The two-week marathon will include performances from Teyana Taylor, Ari Lennox, and Denzel Curry alongside Joey Bada$$ in addition to photo exhibition from hip-hop photographer Gunner Stahl and a lecture from Quality Control COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee, just to name a few.
Red Bull Music Festival Chicago event will take place from November 17th–30th and will feature hometown artist Lupe Fiasco performing his 2005 debut, Food & Liquor, in full. The Chicago edition of the event will also feature a performance from Tierra Whack and a mix of DJs hosting all-night takeovers of different venues. Other artists scheduled to perform throughout the Chicago event include ADaD, Ben LaMar Gay, Charles “Rick” Heath IV, Chris Paquette, Colette, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, and more.
A statement shared via press release to go with Wednesday announcement reads, “Focused on supporting and shining a light on each city’s unique musical and cultural offerings, Red Bull Music Festival will deliver nights of celebration and education through the voices of Atlanta and Chicago’s native arts & music communities.”

Black Madonna's playing smartbar tomorrow and tickets are $15.
Should I go?
Oh yeah for sure. Never heard a set from her that wasn't both fun and creative. She honed her craft for years through sweat equity, and since she's broken through she's just a shining star. I adore her.
