I wasn't sure if you were kidding because there is intense Caribou fandom on the board related to his 2015 Bonnaroo show. It came up last night in the Roo undercard speculation thread:
I will never forget this goddamn 6 minutes. One of my favorite Bonnaroo sets in my 7 years. Love how you can hear a girl in the crowd at the end like "my mind is blowing." Every time a turn on the song on spotify, I can't get through it and have to turn to this video.
I'm not sure the video translates all that well. I watched it last night, but wasn't at the show.
Interesting. She cancelled her arena show in KC in January 2018 because of "illness" and is now playing a 2000 capacity theater.
Playing different sized venues depending on the market rather than a massive arena tour is a much better fit.
Also, if this is leg three then what was leg two?
Europe? But that is next year. This seems like a leg that was thrown together last minute. The difference between ticket on-sale and the 1st show of the leg is like 3 weeks.

Yeah I agree but looking at the social media comments it looks like people that bought tickets for her Jan 2018 show had the choice of refunds or make up date tickets. And now that make up date is at a venue with 16,000 less capacity. Don't know the exact numbers on how many tickets were sold and how many went with refunds, but sounds like a pending logistic nightmare.

Caribou at Primavera 2015 is one of my top ten all time favorite shows. That and them opening for Radiohead in 2011, that combo seriously needs to happen again.

Damn, I really wish this was coming to Pittsburgh.
Been working on my favorite albums of the 2010s list and Blue Sky Noise is in my top ten; the album was integral to a period of rapid change in my life and I have a lot of great friendships and memories associated with it...but I'm in Chicago on the 7th for a wedding. Fuuuuck.
