Pretty excited with what I got coming up. May try to catch Primus in Columbus in early August. Really excited for Phish>UM on 8/7 & 8/8!
Can't believe Neil Young is playing in Cincy on the night of the Home-Run derby. Already had my tickets before I found out he was playing.
Yeah, that sucks. I can't believe he is even coming to Cincinnati. I feel like cincy gets skipped over by a lot of artists. I've never seen Neil Young before (I'm not counting the roo '11 Buffalo Springfield performance seeing as no one could hear a damn thing!) so I'm super excited for this one. I'd be selling those home run tix if I were you lol. Honestly though, the home run derby will be a lot of fun too. Especially if you got some prime seats.

I would sell but me and my brother are taking our dad up for the trip. He's not a big music guy, and has been looking forward to it for awhile. We have good seats for the derby, decent for the All-Star Game.

And he probably won't be coming again the way tickets are selling
Also, did you hear Beach House is coming to Bogarts in September? That's going to be a great show.
Just went ahead and got a ticket to Bob Moses for beginning of October (it was only $12 - which for the D.C. area is almost equivalent to free); thanks to the people whose posts of All in All in Now Playing Dos motivated me to check him out!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

That blows my mind. I wish I could go but money is tight.

Wow! that sucks, but I'm not surprised either. Of course the place will sell out whenever Jimmy Buffett or Kenny Chesney come to town but be half full for Neil Young.
I have heard about that Beach House show. Not sure if I'll be going yet not. I'm on the fence about that one and the Glass Animals show at the Taft still.

Glass Animals were amazing when I saw them here at the Civic Theatre. I highly recommend that show.

When I saw a show billed as: Holiday Liquor & Dance Luau Party: 2015 Summer Edition. I thought that sounds really terrible. I mean what holiday are we celebrating, late 4th? So clicked on it and found out Marley Carroll is playing, so I guess I will find out on Sat.
Dallas, Texas July 8, 2015 - Untapped Festival, Texas’ hugely popular craft beer and music festival, returns to Dallas on Saturday, November 7 and officially kicks off NTX Beer Week. Tapping a fantastic and diverse music lineup that spans three stages, Untapped Festival Dallas features headliners The Flaming Lips, Dr. Dog, Cloud Nothings, Elle King, The Pharcyde, The Mowglis, LIGHTS, Steve Gunn, UME and Dallas local favorites Valise and Birds of Night.
Just announced for All-Star week in Cincy (tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday) some free shows. Snoop, Avett Brothers, Walk the Moon, Big Data and a few more. Nothing I'm stoked about it, but a nice plus considering the money I spent for this trip.
Oaktopia takes place from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27. Tickets are available now at oaktopiafest.com. The cost is $57 for three-day passes and $99 for VIP, although Camp warns that prices will go up with the second announcement. The message is pretty clear, then. Post haste, friends.
Here's the full list of bands announced today:
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes Minus the Bear Thundercat Father Allan Kingdom Horse Thief Shlohmo DJ Mom Jeans (Danny Masterson) Sarah Jaffe S. Good The Unmarked Graves Fab Deuce Jessie Frye Stu Brootal Heavy Baby Seagulls Black James Frano Kaela Sinclair The Boombachs -Topic Biographies
Just picked up a ticket to Phish in Austin for $25.
Completely forgot they were coming through town (since they always skip Texas), when I saw the show listed. Decided to check StubHub, and for once, I don't want to shoot everyone responsible for Ticketmaster/StubHub. I found a ticket for $25. Not a great ticket, but it is seated, so still closer then everyone on the lawn. It's the very last one at the edge of the aisle, but it was $25. Couldn't pass up a chance for Phish for $25.

Where are the shows being held?
Walk the Moon and Avett Brothers are pregame concerts on the field. Snoop is at Fountain Square tomorrow night, and Big Data is the block party on Tuesday on East Freedom Way...trying to figure out what time that is.

They kicked ass when they opened up for Russian Circles last year. This will be a last minute show for me, depending if it's on Jukely and if I'm not working. September's getting too packed for me already.
