Paul McCartney is playing Fenway Park the same weekend that I have tickets to see The Cure at MSG. I realllllly want to see Paul again (and it would be my fiances first time), and neither of us have seen The Cure.
I don't know what to do right now, argh.
It looks like they're a month apart, but I could be wrong.
I'm an absolute space cadet sometimes. I swore that my Cure tickets were for July 18, not June 18.

Is that code good for all of the tour dates? I'm planning to get Atlanta pre-sale tickets.
It's a venue pre-sale code, so unlikely but possible. I found it on the Orpheum theater fb page. Not seeing one on the ATL venue fb page.
Fuck you 76. I'm not Tarzan swinging on that strap, but this is potentially some of the greatest shit ever. Haha. Mega bucket list check off in 3D. Yes.
Btw,my boy Hogan who plays in Egg Yolk told me the Lanois show was beyond unreal. I knew about his lease shit and why he left the city but apparently there was some crazy bitch with a rep that put some type of hex or whammy on his ass that kept him away. But he said the show was fn awesome and he threw some credit at the bar at the new Ace Hotel. "It felt like I was in New York City...

One of my uncle's crowning glories of his life was making sweet love with Exene Cervenka back in the day. I felt this was an inappropriate thing to tell an eleven year old (also confusing since I had no idea who he was talking about).

No effing way! My dad told me he did the same thing! Which is so inappropriate to tell your teenage son. Looking back, I think that is why I probably never got into listening to them. Just too weird.

If your fathers are Eskimo brothers, does that make you Eskimo cousins?
There has to be an Eskimo relationship of some type. Dave Maynar, was he living in Southern California during the late 70's/early 80's? My dad was.

Yup. He bailed for the west coast not long after high school. He lived all over the Pacific coast in California. Someone needs to work that out for us.

Haha. This is too much. And, want to hear something jacked up? I was at my parent's house this past Easter and my dad was listening to X in the basement. My dad was like, "Hey, check it out. You how this is? And I said, "This is X, isn't it? I'm going back upstairs."

Foals just added a Columbus date at Newport, July 27th. If anyone around Columbus is looking for another Foals show, a proper headlining show, since they just played C-bus not too long ago but not as top billed. I'm half tempted to go to this...but can't.

Except that they're playing Austin while I'm in Australia... Boooooo.
I still have torn feelings on Blink without Tom. Buuuuut, I may just make my way to the San Antonio show just to see how they are. Tom's apathy towards Blink I think held them back the last time I saw them. So I'd like to see if they have a renewed energy on stage now. The single isn't terrible either, so I'm cautiously intrigued.
And fuck yea, The All-American rejects are opening. What a throwback. Had no clue they were even still a thing. The shitty emo kid in me will be so happy.
