Cardi B being billed above Tyler hurts man, sheesh
Cardi B is the hottest of the hot shit right now. I've never heard of Nicky Jam though before seeing this poster. I figured it was some supergroup or something but I'm just out of touch.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Nicky Jam is a pretty big name in reggaeton. Considering how Spanish language crossovers are getting popular again after Despacito, it's not a surprise big names like him are starting to appear on festival lineups.
Cardi B is huge right now. First female rapper in 20 years to hit #1 with a solo record. And I think she been #1 a couple times now.
boo last time they were here it was the 2 man acoustic thing. ted leo opening too.
I felt the same way about St. Vincent's tours this year. I was at one of her solo shows in January and while it was cool and pretty unique, it doesn't hold a candle to the full band sets I've seen streams of this summer. On the plus side, I'm sure the full band will make it your way next year!

So a local venue just posted a Mazzy Star meme with the emoji eyes. Maybe its just random but they often tease upcoming shows like this, so maybe they're gearing up for a tour!
So Mazzy Star is playing this festival put on by the venue I was talking about. Hopefully it's part of a bigger tour

I get that this is a festival that seems to be targeting a Latinx audience, but Kali Uchis seems like she's billed extremely high on that lineup.
Also, I had no idea the Ronettes were still performing. They'd be fun to see at a festival.

I know Ronnie Spector occasionally does shows at a casino in CT, but she also (last I knew) lives in CT
A quick search shows she performs pretty infrequently in different places and that apparently if you want to see her you have to go to City Winery in New York.

Cracked and got tix to Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart this weekend. May never get to see either of them again so it’s worth it imo, but those resale prices....oof.
