My Battles album arrived, but look how it was shipped.
MOTHERFUCKING BUBBLE WRAP
And not a lot of bubble wrap, nor large bubbles either. Single layer on the front, sort of doubled over on the back. No box at all. You can see the shipping label directly on the bubble wrap. It traveled from Las Vegas and appears to be in good condition (no time to check it now).
I'm shocked.
I ordered from Amazon, they have special boxes for albums. Were they out, and someone just said "Fuck it"?
Still, my favorite method of shipping a record is King Gizzard shipping Quarters from Australia in a pizza box. Need to see if I can find that pic somewhere.
That is absurd! I would definitely contact Amazon and let them know their packaging is unacceptable. Did it ship from them directly?

Yep, directly from Amazon's fulfillment center in Nevada. Unfortunately I won't be able to check it for warps for another week or so when I get back home. But Amazon will definitely get an email whether or not it needs to be replaced.
I'm just thankful it was shipped UPS and not USPS. I know the postal service would have fucked it like the watermelon on the cover.

They would have taken it out of the flimsy half-ass package, thrown it across the room, used it as a lunch tray, dropped it on the floor, stomped on it a few times with their size 13 Durangos, then put it back in the package and sent it on it's way.

Are any of you guys having trouble with Spotify right now?
It takes forever for it to load up when it first starts though, but it's not anything out of the ordinary for me.
Hm. It's probably my computer. It won't play anything for me. I keep getting "Cannot play track" up across the top of the window in a blue bar.
Needless to say, I was forced to take a little trip down iTunes library lane. Discovered that I do not have "Deadbolt" by Thrice but I remember having the album it was on, so now I have to find my CD's and external hard drive. Spotify really made me a lazy listener.
I have only actually seen truck nuts here once. They scandalous nature of them may have turned off the conservatives here.
The lift was definitely in feet.
No custom exhaust, but it should get bonus points for having the Mossy Oak window protectors in full effect.
Definite bonus points for Mossy Oak anything, that's a given. Much like the Mossy Oak seat covers I'm sure he had.
I wonder if truck nuts are more of a Texas thing? I just assumed they were for any Southern red neck.
I actually see truck nuts semi regularly. Not so much where I live now, but when I go my hometown and other small towns. I always see a few trucks with all the aforementioned accessories (plus the confederate flag, obviously), when tailgating at our amphitheater.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Truck nuts, the glue that holds Southern and Yankee red necks together.

Even though I'm no longer practicing, I still like to take stock of things on Yom Kippur. Here's what I've decided.
Yeah, I violated some of the Commandments this year. But: (1) only what I consider some of the minor ones and (2) my neighbor's wife is just so damn covetable!

Sometimes, I put on a dress and feel all girly. And then I get to work and remember that I haven't shaved my legs in a week.
LOL! I lasered off my hairs a few years ago, but I still get a random stray here and there. I ALWAYS only notice them at work. Maybe we need desk razors?
I usually navigate Inforoo via "recent threads". Wouldn't it be easier if the thread pages were in descending order rather than ascending? Maybe it's just me but seems wasteful to see the same obsolete page one every time a thread is opened.
I meant when clicking the most recent thread that it opens to page one of that thread. Then I have to click on the last page number to see the most recent page.
that's because you are clicking hte thread title. click the little "new" icon and it will take you to the first new-to-you post in the thread.

Just saw a dude walking down the street in a down jacket, complete with furry hood. I know today is the first day of Autumn and all, but it's 76 degrees out right now. Sure, it was a bit chilly this morning but a sweatshirt was all you needed man.

Autumn? What is the phenomenon of which you speak?
But seriously it's 83 degrees out right now in Columbia.

Lucky. We're still upper 90's. But we're finally under 100 for the rest of the year. On the down slope!
