Damn. This GRiZ set from Hulaween was cool and then Michael Jackson? I must be one of the few non fans on the planet.
Bitcoin crossed 6450 today for a while. Shit is sick and as long as it’s rolling mfers playing that shit have the potential to hit that lotto many times over. Idk. I’m just going to wait and see. Gotta be a pullback even though 35,000+ new investors daily should help continue to drive the value toward the sky in the longer term.

Wait for another crash or significant dip and buy in then, I say. If you're looking for another potential cryptocurrencies that may explode like BTC, I'd check out Litecoin, ETH and NEO.

I like all of those, and I like the platform XRP offers and at $0.19, there's a chance for factor of "x" down the line. I'm just scared to f with my bitcoin money because it's up like 16% in 2 weeks. I may buy some more if it comes back into the upper $5k range. But seems like overall it's headed in the other direction. I've read some 'experts' stating $7500-10k by end of year which would be awesome. And then others who think it will get to $25k, $50k, $1MM in the next several years. I don't know if it can get that high because if it gets into the many trillions, it probably takes over the world and central governments will not probably let that happen.

It's crazy how unpredictable it is, but I think it's safe to say there won't be a drastic crash like there was a few years ago again.
Anyone here have a Casper or Purple mattress? Looking for some personal recommendations because I don't trust internet reviewers.
I just bought an Amore, which is another bed in a box company. I absolutely love it. It comes in soft/medium/firm and you can do different firmness levels for each side of the bed if you want. It's similarly priced to the ones you mentioned, and they always seem to be running some kind of promocode deal.

Let me ask you this. The next blockchain fork happens in 2 weeks. The company where I have mine says they will credit me 1 for 1 Bitcoin2x for whatever Bitcoin I have. How does that compare to a stock split or is it a completely different animal? I’m thinking it will be different from a stock split in that the value isn’t based off the fork but more whatever people think that forked currency is worth. For instance in a 2:1 stock split of a stock valued at 50, you then have 2 shares worth 25.00 each but have the dividend potential of having 2 shares vs only 1. But in this case it seems that if you have 1 Bitcoin and receive 1 free Bitcoin2x, the 2x is just worth trading value and isn’t intrinsic to the value of the original Bitcoin. Do I understand that right?

I'm not an expert, but I believe you're correct. This fork has happened a few times before, and the new BTC is always worth significantly less. I'd transfer your BTC to a local wallet (I use the electrum program) to avoid losing your BTC.
For sure. I have it at a spot that insures the deposit, but if/when I decide to branch out, I'm going to get a hard wallet probably. Btw, $7,150. That's like up > $750 this week. Shit's nuts.
I'm amazed how many people detest vegans, even if they don't speak on it unless they are trying to find something to eat. Sorry for giving a fuck what goes in my body, or having a viewpoint that doesn't support the current farm industries treatment of animals and have zero interest in being part of it. I apologize that knowing how cows create milk and the how the industry pushes it, to create more and more of it as a normality, makes you feel uncomfortable - but holy shit, get off my ass for not wanting to eat butter and cheese.

But don't you need protein? You can only get that from meat.

I am going to go ahead and pretend that you are being the biggest smart ass of all smart asses.
@bandeto, my niece is vegan and she comes over and we cook together all the time. And while I appreciate that you actual give a fuck what you put in your body, not all vegans are that way. My older sister is one and only buys processed, prepackaged food, which even though it has no animal byproduct in it, is still processed and pretty fucking gross. Personally, I give zero fucks what anyone else does with their body. All healthy, great. Fatty, processed, animal. Ok. As long as I am not being forced to eat something that I don't want to eat I am all good.
So, yeah. Fuck anyone that gives you shit about your lifestyle choices. If they are being dicks, cut them out your life. There are much bigger things to stress you out than judgmental asshole.

Unfortunately the best of us just keep our mouths shut, because we stopped having the patience for it. If we were to cut out all the people are dicks about it consciously, that's a bit easier, but often times what happens is I don't "disclose" that I'm a vegan and they start going in on us. And then I have to be like, yea, they brutalize our chickens and rape cows to get milk -- sorry not interested. Also too many people are disconnected from their food. Until they cut a goat or an animals throat open for the potluck -- I wish they'd shut the fuck up.

This bothers me too, and I'm not even vegan. I've seen similar attitudes for people who don't drink alcohol, don't eat sweets, etc.

good assumption.
@bandeto, melody and i ate strictly vegan for several months a few years back and got a lot of pushback from random people. we weren't running around shouting about how we were vegan, but people see what you are eating and start asking questions, you know how it is. the most common comments were about how "you need protein" and "i ain't no rabbit, i ain't just eating a bunch of leaves".
i'm a meat eater now but even our brief foray into veganism was very beneficial, as we learned how to prepare and cook lots of tasty non-meat dishes that we still enjoy today.

I totally get it. As a non-drinker I get a bunch of shit about why or if ever and whatnot, definitely not in the same extreme as people are about food. And since postjack mentioned it, I have heard people do that shit before. I guess I just kind of drowned that noise out because I went vegetarian for a long time and heard all sorts of shit so I just ignore when people ask dumb questions.
Bottom line. People are fucking assholes and need to mind their own business.
