Hey, I really wasn't sure where to put this question so I figured here was a good place.
I know it may be a sensitive subject, but I was curious about Matt's Tree and it's namesake. I tried to search for something, but most of what I could find was Inforoo Brunch posts. If anyone would like to explain or just send me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.
Sending you a PM. Will take me a minute to write it.

My dad emails me every morning. Usually it consists of what he's doing today or what I'm going to do. Today, instead he sent this:
"Hello Nick. I have decided, after much thought and consideration, to stop using contractions. It is not an easy thing to do after so many years of using contractions, but I feel I must do so. I feel that one does not save time or keystrokes by using them and what did I do with all the extra time or keystrokes. Ergo, no more contractions. Love, Dad"
Haha That's so cute he emails you every morning! It's weird, but when I write/type out contractions I say both of the words in my head. I like your dad!

This has been a rough week for me. First I watched Blue Valentine and had my soul destroyed. Then today in my 20th Century music class we watched the opera 'Wozzeck' by Berg. It's like everyone is out to destroy my faith in humanity.

You only have a few more hours to complain about Blue Valentine. Soak it up.

Run out and see the French film "Amour." It's up for a best picture Oscar (I think). It makes Blue Valentine seem like a Disney movie. will completely lift your spirits.

Hang out with me some more. i'll finish the job real quick

People have been sucking all week.
During one phone conversation this week I had a 60+ year old man scream at me, curse at me and then threaten to strangle me because I wouldn't check his mistress into his hotel room until somebody gave me a credit card to pay for it. Could not understand why I wouldn't just give someone a room key because Random Guy On The Phone said to.

I disagree. I'd give it a week for Blue Valentine, or when you've gained 10 pounds by eating your self-pity and cynicism away. Whichever comes first, but either way I'd give it a few more days banshee
Work all day and then the afternoon and evening spent with the Brownie and Daisy troop at World Thinking Day. If I don't come back to the boards by tomorrow night you know I'm in the psych hospital.
