I watched Duck Dynasty only once. The episode featured three guys traveling in an RV. The oldest of the men cooked beans. After the flatulence began he decided to exit the RV and ride inside the jeep that was being towed behind until the police stopped them and told him to get back inside with everybody else.
Felt like a huge jerkstore today. I've been DJ'ing about once a month at this bar for two years now. I get a tab at the bar (i.e. free drinks.) For whatever reason, it never crossed my mind to tip on these drinks over the past two years (I almost always order beer.) It's been bugging me all day. I obviously plan on tipping from here on out (I go to said bar at least once a week and always tip on the drinks I pay for), but is there anything I can do to make up for it? Was thinking about sending a letter apologizing with some cash in it (was thinking $40), but I didn't know if that was overkill.

How many bartenders are there?
There are two a night. Maybe five or six different bartenders total.

Maybe just tip them each a $20 next time and tell them you're new at this and just realized your error? I guess I worry a letter + money may wind up in the wrong hands.

as long as they like you (i.e., you're not a total db) I think you're probably ok. I do think you could acknowledge it and I like CKS's idea for doing that. if you tip on drinks you pay for on other occasions I'm sure it's less of a big deal than it probably seems like to you. I was a bartender in a past life and I would not have really taken issue with a cool DJ not tipping on comped drinks.

Yeah, I was talking it over with someone and they said the same thing. I'm worrying too much. Just going to start tipping from here on out.
Birds typically make their calls at sunset and sunrise, right? Well, then can someone explain why the hell this little bastard outside my window insist on squawking his head off very loudly at 2:30 in the morning?
Seriously, little dude - get some sleep and let me do the same. Bloody larrikin.
Waking up in the dark sucks. Hurry up, standard time.
what's really depressing is in the winter, the days when it's dark when you leave the house for work and dark when you get home, and you have spent all of the sunshine hours indoors... boo. not looking forward to that! it's a good thing I love Christmas so damn much, so it kind of all balances out.

Yeah, that is definitely the pits.
There is something nice about getting home in the dark and getting all warm and cozy, though.
I know the government shut down is for most intents and purposes a bad thing, but my commute in to work was amazing today. It took 10 minutes instead of 25.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Dropped a baby carrot under my desk and can't find it. Where could it beeee?!?!?
Today, I found a pickle under my desk that I'm pretty sure was there for at least three months. Really, I have no idea when the last time I had pickles here was. It was in a Tupperware thing at least, not just loose. But still, finding it was not a proud moment for me.

I'm currently in pinterest hell planning two birthday parties and a baby shower. Reeeally wish I could daydrink through this but I think that would result in one of my kids having a baby crowning through a vag cake and a minecraft themed baby shower.
