The ENFP personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike Explorers, they are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.
Nailed it. dats me. every test I've taken over the last couple of years has put me as an ENFP.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Looks like you two (and Rummy 500) are my polar opposites. Any ESFPs or ESTPs out there? Apparently, those two personality types are most compatible with ISTJ.
Okay so there are multiple INTJs in this thread. Have you had a romantic relationship with an ENFP that you know of? Or friendship even. Idk, I just started believing a lot more in the validity of Myers Briggs compatibility claims as I read up on what my ideal match is supposed to be and why. There's a lot on the interwebs about it, but heres one example that discusses the INTJ/ESFP tendency towards attracting each other. oddlydevelopedtypes.com/enfp_survival
Not that I know of. My husband is an INTP, and I've been with him for over 15 years now, so I can't exactly remember what my (very, very few) previous boyfriends were like.
“Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.” - Hunter Thompson
It's kind of interesting how many INTJs there are here, being the rarest type. I guess we aren't the type to just show up at Bonnaroo without knowing everything we possibly can about it first

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing, how funny it is that like a third of the people in this conversation are INTJ, and something like only 2/3% of the population is. Hahahah but your second statement - so so very true. And then for the EFs on here, we aren't the type to just show up at Bonnaroo without first wanting to engage lots with the people who will be there and learn all about our potential new friends

ENTP. This seems like the right personality for a message board.
ENTP personalities are quick-witted, and their primary means of expressing this is in the form of arguments and discussions, where they will easily spend an entire evening debating an idea they may not even believe in. ENTPs don't do this because they are trying to achieve some deeper purpose or strategic goal, but for the simple reason that it's fun.

ENFP Extravert(56%) iNtuitive(50%) Feeling(12%) Perceiving(67%) You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (56%) You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%) You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%) You have distinct preference of Perceiving over Judging (67%)
Random thought (I realize this is precisely the place to bring up such things, but it is just a way sudden shift in topic): what are people's thoughts on Myers Briggs? Do you think it is BS, really accurate, intriguing but nothing to rely on...somewhere in between these?

I can't believe I'm the only INFP here. Am I a unicorn?
Is it "a unicorn" or "an unicorn?" An sounds funny, but feels correct.
It's a vowel right. An would in theory be correct?
Much like any other English rule, there are exceptions to a/an. That being, when a U word is pronounced as though it were "you," it is preceded with "a," instead of "an" because "you" begins with a consonant. Likewise, the word "hour" is preceded by "an" because the beginning sound is "ow," which is a vowel.
