Some of us haven't started season three yet. This talk should be in its own thread smellycat .
I can't seem to find the Black Mirror thread. Why is that?
Idk? I was at lunch for my work birfday, and I read this thread first once I got back in the office. Once I left this thread, I found this: inforoo.com/thread/35889/black-mirror-netflix
Someone was listening, even if it was before I was speaking.
If recent TV commercials for G.E. teach me anything, it's that the people they're hiring these days are kind of a bunch of assholes whose friends and family are morons. Is that what they're going for? I don't know what consumer products they sell anymore, or how these commercials are supposed to pay off.

With Siena College's first and only exhibition game of the season tonight, I'd like to formally wish everyone a happy and painless college basketball season (unless you're a Duke fan)!
we had a guest speaker in class to talk about ethnographic research in the digital world / social spaces. he talked a lot about listening & interpreting online conversations and finding user trends and digging into message boards and other stuff. and then I realized he was making a lot of music references like MMJ, the cure, and even a manchester, TN reference.
