I am currently dressed in a mix between cold and extreme cold. It is currently 46, feels like 42 and 83% humidity. I would die in Boston during the winter.
Word. I just walked to the end of the subdivision to get the lady's mail. I decided my threshold us when gloves become a necessity rather than an option. I think that would get me to September in Boston.
I wear mittens in the cold. If the scarf and hat is out, the mittens are as well. I love Boston, have been there twice and one of those times it was for over a week...but never in any other season than what they call summer, it felt more like spring to me.
The US National Weather Service's Boston FB page just posted this due to the sub zero temps we're dealing with right now.
Just thought you might need the info, to keep warm and stuff.
I never wanna be in Extreme Cold. Looks awful.
You couldn't have just edited your first post? But, I do agree. Extreme cold, looks miserable and as someone with curly hair, it sounds like a nightmare. I would have to style my hair with the hat and wear it all day or I would have shitty hair all season long, along with being freezing. Or not...what do I know. I am never in the cold. GROSS.

Editing is for chumps and for correcting my horrendous amount of spelling/grammatical errors. I don't have curly hair, but I can relate about hats. Mine has a tendency to lose its mind if I wear a hat for more than three seconds.
It’s going to be 18 degrees here over the weekend. I consider that to be extreme.
I would concur with that statement. It is currently 38, feels like 33 and 100% humidity. It is misty, yucky raining but not real rain. I fucking hat it. Dave Maynar, I wore my hat for 2 blocks and prayed that the top of my hair didn't frizz the fuck out and the ends stay curly. It is quite the look when it happens.
I can't recommend enough your local National Weather Service page. Probably the best source for no-BS weather forecasts out there. (I may also like at least four of them on FB: Boston, NYC, Albany, Portland ME)
Back in the early-mid 00's, chump Senator Rick Santorum proposed a bill banning the NWS from disseminating any information that could be provided by the corporate sector. This was the brainchild of 3 shitty Pennsylvania weather conglomerates (including Accuweather). The idea was that the free service bought and paid for by taxpayers was impeding potential profits. So anything they produced that could be redistributed commercially would be banned, and only the weather companies could get the raw data. I shit you not. It was one of the most Republican efforts to fuck shit up that I ever saw. The idea that taxpayers are paying for the satellites and computers and all the technology that was providing the information that would then be banned from distribution except to corporate people is just mind numbing and shows how far the greed can go. Sometimes decent pattern recognition guy but sometimes nut-jobby Joe Bastardi was leading the charge on his daily free videos on Accuweather (at that time) in trying to sell the public why it would be such a great idea. The public backlashed, and Santorum eventually got beat by Senator Casey. What a fucking crock of shit that was.

I remember that
At the time I was a meteorology student in college, and a lot of people in the department were worried about Santorum's bills getting traction. No love for Accuweather either. Glad that got defeated.
I know a guy who went to work in an NWS bureau office, then the military. I knew people who now work in great spots in the private sector. I knew people who now work on television. I flunked out of the program, which is disappointing sometimes.
Nice score there. We’d been watching it since the fall back to 18 cents but had been waiting. I set up Binance but hadn’t had a chance to mess with it. Based at the 2.24 it shows now, that’s a 1244% rerun in a couple of weeks. No reason I can see that ripple can’t eventually push toward 100 which is big time for all of you who have thousands of shares.
I see it also is now the 2nd largest crypto by market cap. Good for them.

There's no time like the present, stellar seems to be on an upswing

Sometimes I get this unbearable heartburn and it's so discomforting I get mad at God and the universe. Then I remember it's probably because I ate some of those ghost pepper potato chips from a company nobody has ever heard of.

I don't drink anymore but I don't think I'd drink that. Chilis in beer just seems bad to me.
Seems like the Coachella thread does not react well to input (original or borrowed) about the 2018 lineup or the Kardashians. I suppose Coachella is now the official festival of the Snapchat/Instagram generation.
No moons here, just enjoying the hell out of the flight!
Not sure on my percentages for my portfolio, but got a heavy bit invested in TRX and a bit invested in XRP and XLM. Got onto XRB when it was sub $10, now it's at $30. Considering jumping on POE, DRGN, ICX, ENG and SPANK , but at that point I'd have 14, which may be too much diversification.
