While I agree that corporations as a high up there as Sam Adams shouldn't get a tax break -- it does extend to smaller companies. And Busch, Coors, and Bud have been getting ridiculous subsidizes on the production items they buy (which is already crap) and their shipping costs, let alone direct tax breaks. So... ya. get it get it.
This is also why I am a beer snob. and fully enjoy my BluePoint, River Horse, Magic Hat, and small brewery selections. I literally pay 2 or 3 dollars (a six pack) more for much better beer. (Sam Adams is my if I'm at dinner and there is no other choice selection)
All I'm saying is that you couldn't give me a Bud Light for free. I was just on a 12 hour flight with free beer. After my first Heineken they ran out and only had Bud and Miller left. I had water for the other ~11 hours.
I'll take a Bud Heavy over a Heineken 10 days a week. The Heineken-only beer gardens at Coachella were the worst thing ever.
To be clear here, if money were no object I'd drink nothing but Tank 7, Oberon, and Fat Tire. But some of the domestic mega-beers like Bud Heavy, High Life and ring-ring are all perfectly acceptable and you people are kidding yourselves to say otherwise.
I like Heineken compared to the big US beers (Bud/Coors/Busch/whatever). But yeah if money permits my go to mass produced beers are Blue Moon, Fat Tire, and Sierra Nevada. Yuengling if I'm on a budget and can find it.
However I live in a city that has a great craft brew and micro brew scene so I'm lucky enough to get to try a lot for fairly cheap. Plus my room mates dad does his own brewing so we always have access to that.
I wasn't wanting to acknowledge this conversation that's been going on. All I'm saying is, I don't understand people who pass up free alcohol..
If you've ever had licorice tasting alcohol or vodka with flavors (I don't know how you all do vodka, let alone flavored vodkas) - you will understand. Bad beer also gives me a terrible hangover because I drink it much faster - tastes like water.
edit: I thought of this 3 seconds after pressing post: I need my beer to be like my ladies, full bodied.
(sorry.)

Jager is amazing. I agree on the vodka though, even the best vodka sucks. I can do cheap beer just fine. Dry wines give me a horrible hang over though. Red ones are the worst.
When washing laundry. Do you pour the laundry soap and then add clothes, or put the clothes in and then add the laundry soap?
Technically, like Phi said, you are supposed to partially let it fill up with water then add detergent then clothes. It's pretty flexible though. It is more important to add the detergent to water if you are using powdered detergent versus liquid as you can end up with clumps of dry detergent in your clothes. Personally, I add clothes then the liquid detergent then turn on the water.
Does that leave marks on your clothes? I also feel like the soap wouldn't go as far if it was able to soak into whatever clothes it was poured on. I let it fill with a little water, add the liquid detergent, let it fill up about halfway (depending on how impatient I get), then add the clothes.
This is just like every other poll on the board. Everyone has different view points, but for this topic.... Just drink the damn beer.
Turn water on, add detergent (liquid), let water run until soapy, add clothes. Though I have been known to mess up a couple shirts in the laundry, so my way may be awful.

Don't get me wrong, if someone offers me a beer in a concert/festival scenario the only polite thing is to drink it. But if it's about buying it, no f'ng way.

I used to do it this way to, but now I own one of those fancy front loading samsung washing machines and you add liquid high efficiency detergent to a container in the top of it. I'm guessing it mixes it with the water as the water is pushed into the machine.

Hmmm... Doing laundry while drinking beer. Nice idea.

I think your washing machine technology is based on the cross joint. The water and detergent converge creating the apex of the vortex of washing machine power.

It never has left marks to my knowledge. Also, it's just in there for a couple minutes tops before the water is all the way full, so it doesn't have time to dry any on the clothes. It may help that we always do large loads of laundry, and I always fill the detergent cup to level one unless the clothes are just ridiculously clean. Even then, I think that running them another cycle would be way more helpful for them getting clean than adding more detergent to a single cycle. Also, the fact that I am now carrying on a discussion about laundry in addition to the baby birthing/raising talk I do in chat. Such a sister wife. Not really sure how I feel about that.
Never ever ever ever click the hashtag #vineafterdark in the Vine app. What has been seen can not be unseen. Lots of small teenage penises being abused.

I like how you put more of the details on here than you did on your facebook. Someone is afraid his momma will know his secrets.

I think I just thumbs upped you only because "Pineapple Express" is 10x better than I expected it would be

A man who knows and cares about the best ways to birth/raise a baby and openly talks about it is way more man than sisterwife.

Just for a honesty's sake (and a little bit to bolster my manhood), I don't usually wash Abra's clothes because hers have all sorts of weird rules. Some you dry. Some you don't. It's too confusing for me.

I found this on the internet so it has to be true:
What comes first, water, detergent, or clothes
Detergent manufacturers suggest the washing order should be: detergent first, clothing second, and water last.
Firstly, place a measured amount of detergent into the washer. Secondly, put in the clothing letting the clothes fall in freely. Do not pack down as this will overload machine. Lastly, start the washer and allow the water to enter. As the water wets the clothes they will sag to the bottom of the tub. Do not be tempted to add more clothes into this space or overloading will result.
This method allows the detergent and water to mix properly. As water enters and mixes with the detergent it will produce a more consistent mixture. As the water-detergent mixture rises through the clothes they will received a more even distribution of the mixture, resulting in a better wash. It also results in a cleaner wash using less detergent.
Detergent on top of clothes - is this correct
The old method of spreading detergent onto top of clothes will result in it being wasted and give a lower quality wash. This old method produces large amounts of suds, but a poor water-detergent mixture. Suds are only air bubbles, and air bubbles do not wash the clothes.[/b]
1. Turn on water 2. Add detergent while completely rinsing out the cup thing so that no excess soap gets anywhere else 3. Add clothes without waiting any longer

I have a good friend who will buy his nice beers and vodkas and such for full price when it's happy hour and various other choices are 4-6 bucks... He has close to zero spending money available in his life, but somehow, he still thinks buying the full price drinks are worth it.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

That's my method except I wait until the spin cycle begins to mix the detergent with the water before adding clothes.

I probably would if I didn't pour it directly into the line of the water and let the water run into the cup.. it's probably 80-90% mixed by the time the cup is clean

I like a few gyrations before adding clothes. Helps me think the detergent is mixed proportionately with the water. Of course this all changes when using a front loading washing machine.
I am fortunate enough to have friends that work at bars/venues here in town that give me free or discounted drinks and they typically don't mind/notice when I bring drinks from the cooler in my trunk. I can't tell you how many shows I've been to where I didn't purchase a single drink. Normally always flask it for out of town shows too. Have to save that money for moar concert tickets.
