I took the kids to the fountains downtown while Abra was getting her hair cut. It was really crowded because it's hot and there was a small wing festival going on in the park that drew even more people. I couldn't see the stage, but there was a band playing. I kept expecting some random Inforoo person to suddenly emerge out of the crowd, but it never happened. It was sad.

I'm having the same exact feeling at this little one I'm at today.
So This isnt random but... not looking to bump the GRRR thread. I am not the religious type but if you are please keep my mom in your prayers. she is going in for surgery for fribouses and a cervical tumor tomorrow . The biopsy can't be done till afterwards so I won't know if it solves the issue for a bit. I know she would appreciate the positive energy, she's a deacon in her church and adamant about faith.

I'm not much for praying, but will send all my positive thoughts her way.
So I heard there's some pretty crazy flooding in the land of Monopoly money, tar sand pits, maple syrup, and bad hockey teams. Hopefully Boner is doing ok up there.

I was in Calgary for sled island until they canceled the last 2 days of the fest and evacuated all of downtown cuz of the floods. I escaped unharmed, and I'm convinced the sweat and beer flying around during Jon Spencer Blues Explosion played a big part in the flooding.
who knew there was a group of women who regularly gather to read good books in Central Park while proudly topless? I love it. literature, freedom of expression, the beauty of women, it's fantastic.

I got bored and checked on A$AP Rosko's statement that he was behind Tom Petty headlining from the jump.
1) He was behind it from the beginning even if he did couch it to a certain extent in it being a game changer for the Sunday headliner. 2) He and I argue a lot.
I thought I was going to be a little sad without my best friends at Roo, but now I don't think I can make it through Electric Forest without any InfoRoosters

I wish! You can thank HeadCount for declining my volunteer application. You could come pick me up.. and buy me a ticket.. and feed me..?
OR you could make the trek down to Forecastle. I can't pick you up... or buy you a ticket.. But I have a sweet futon and I can cook you the best meals of your life.

She'll be there on Wednesday with ticket and food all prepared.

I told you, dude. I was more into it than most people, right from the very beginning when it was first rumored. And yeah, part of it was because I was excited about the prospect of a Sunday headliner that I'd actually enjoy. My feelings on Tom Petty are pretty much the exact opposite of what you said, haha.

I don't believe you. You never cooked for me before when I made it down.

Well you see the deal is futon+cooking or tempurpedic+nothing. That would just be too much luxury.
