Use promo code PEYTON when ordering a Papa John's Pizza and when it's delivered to your house a Seattle defensive back will take it from you and eat it.
Good one
Here in the Twin Cities we have Galaxy Pizza, which has honest-to-God costumed Superheroes deliver your pie. Seriously, to be a delivery driver you have to come up with your own costume and Superhero persona.
There's a guy that is somewhat of a local legend. He orders from them every week. He gives his roommate the money, cause that's who answers the door for the delivery guy. The roommate gives the pizza guy the $, then the guy who ordered it busts out from behind a fence, or a bush, or from behind the house - dressed in full Super Villain garb.
He grabs the pizza, gives an excellent "MWWHA-HAHAHAHA!", and runs away.
I love my town.
My sister's ex works there. I wish I could remember his super hero name. They actually make pretty good money for acting like fools.
I don't want to start a thread, so I'll ask here: for my tech geeks, I need advice on an external hard drive. I have a macbook (not a pro, just a regular one) that I bought in 2008, and I think it's about at the end of its life. I want to put all of my music and pictures on an external drive so I don't lose them. I don't know much about this kind of stuff, so I have no idea how many gigs or whatever to get... or what would be a decent value. Advice?

The tech support that I sleep with says go with a terabyte external. BB has one on sale right now by Seagate for $69.99. Office Max has a Toshiba for $59. You can get 500GB for a little less, but I'd go with 1TB.

Tell him his second wife thanks him for the advice

I have 3 Seagates that I love. I've had Western Digitals as well in the past. I would go with a 1TB, because there is not much difference in price for a 500G & a 1TB and you get twice as much space.

I have a early 2011 model MacBook Pro. I use an Iomega 1 TB for time machine backups and a 500 GB Seagate that I keep a copy of all my music/video on.
I'd suggest doing a Time Machine backup if you plan on getting a new Mac. If you decide to get a Windows computer make sure the HD is formatted to MS-DOS (FAT) so it will work on both Mac and Windows.

Thanks for the input! If I get another computer it will def be a Mac, but it would probably be a while before I got one.
Going for a yearly car inspection is so stressful. When it passes on the first try I get the urge to cheer and congratulate it.
Living in a red state ftw!
My problems are usually involving the check engine light or something needs replacing.
There was a drive in style testing center in Memphis. When my ex went in for that I laughed for days. He didn't have to do the emissions testing, but to watch them shout stuff at him was hilarious.
so we are in Nashville and I'm looking at the feeds for the cameras in my house on my phone (the babysitter is there with the kids). I'm trying to get to the nursery camera to check on my toddler and scroll through the kitchen camera, where the babysitter can be seen getting dog food from the pantry. G says: "it's kind of fun to creep on her. But not in a weird way!" riiiiiight. because there's totally a way to creep on someone that's not weird.

Nuts to that. My check engine light is on so much I worry about it burning out.

The only way creeping isn't weird is if the creepee knows about the creepers cameras.

Thinking about either moving back home or moving in with my grandparents in order to save more money for my fast approaching move abroad. The thought of not living on my own, even if just for a month or two is horrifying. I seriously can't even fathom having to deal with it again, but it seems like the best option. Ugh
