Did anyone go see Casey Crescenzo during the McCartney show? Always wondered how many were there and if it was a good show.
Yes. We walked by and caught a few songs. There were quite a few people there. All the cushions were full and there were a few stragglers scattered around the stage.
Does anybody want to quit their job and go live off the grid with me in the forest?
Yes.
I'm currently in the process of hypothetically snatching all of my loved ones and relocating someplace where we don't have to wear shoes. My current destination is Puerto Rico.
Did poorly on a final last night and found out from the University that I used to attend that even if I did well at county school they wouldn't let me reenroll.. Feeling absolutely horrible. I feel like I'm not good at school but I don't have any other options. Really worried about my future.
My husband and I were just talking the other day about some thing he read discussing evidence showing that some people's brains are wired such that the classic school learning environment is just all wrong for the way those people think and learn. It's a real shame that our society has put pretty much all of it's emphasis into one style of learning, even though that style just doesn't work for everyone. But maybe there are options that you just haven't considered yet? Do you know what it is you want to do?
No idea. That's part of the problem. I change my mind all the time. But what's worse, it doesn't matter because I don't think I can even ever get a degree. The girl I'm seeing is trying to steer me toward a trade school now to become an electrician or something. I don't know if that's what I want..

Hey, how'd you know my life story?
Seriously though. I've been there. I'm still kinda there. Trade school is cool. You work with your hands and solve puzzles everyday. It's hard work and you can feel good about it in the morning. I'm in culinary school and one of my classmates said "We don't sleep, we get paid like crap, and we work so hard. Why does anyone do this?" My teacher responded with "Because we love it and can't live without it."
Do you like working with circuits and wiring and all the things an electrician does? Are you cool with getting shocked a lot? Do you like puzzles and problem solving? If you do, then the big question is whether or not it's something you think you could do everyday.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I'm just now watching the Axs coverage of Coachella weekend Dos, currently watching Haim. Never been a big Haim fan... buuuutttt..... I'm getting strangely turned on by this performance. I love them. I think it is their long hair, dirty mouths and the way they are banging the fuck out of these drums. I like it. I like it a lot.
Then I remembered that they are NOT at Roo this year and got sad.
Starting in September, I'll be teaching at an orphanage in Leon, Nicaragua. So in one month it's goodbye Korea, and in four months it's goodbye Asia. Bittersweet, but I'm pretty excited to try volcano boarding.
I love my cat. His name is Reggie. He makes my life better. Sometimes I think about all the other cats at the Brant County SPCA that I could've chosen over him, and it scares me to think I almost didn't have him in my life. He is an absolute sweetheart.

I'm so sick of finals. Why did I register for Partnership Tax, Estates and Trusts Tax, and Corporate Finance in my last semester? This is literally the last thing in the world I want to be dedicating my time to. Why didn't I have the foresight to register for bullshit classes like Interviewing and Counseling, E-Discovery (sorry @phillex), or something else. Ugh. I hate myself right now.
Lesson to all other students...learn from my mistake...take the easiest classes possible in your last semester.
